South Park Season 28 Episode 4 parodies another member of the administration as Pete Hegseth arrives in town

South Park never fails to bring in the aspect of black comedy related to the current world scenarios. Many real-world situations are depicted in the storyline of South Park. Usually, these situations are depicted with a layer of humor. The newest episode of the series sheds light on the current situation with the Department of Defense/War Secretary Pete Hegseth. The addition of humor at the right moments makes this episode of the series worth watching.

Parody of Pete Hegseth in South Park Season 28 Episode 4

This episode of South Park comes in just before Thanksgiving. It focuses on Turkey Trot. The episode starts with a discussion about the lack of a sponsor for the event. All the members begin to discuss that South Park’s situation is not well, which is the reason behind the event not getting a sponsor.

One of the members said that there could be one person who would be able to give them money, as the person gives money to everyone else. They finally get the sponsor from Saudi Arabia. As this episode progresses, Stan and his friends discuss the winner’s prize amount at the Turkey Trot.

They plan to win the race so that they can get the money. At the police station, the White House calls to free the prisoner. They threaten to send Pete Hegseth if they do not comply and release the prisoner. Right then, Pete Hegseth appears at the police station.

Peter Hegseth then orders the police to release the prisoner immediately. When the police tell him that the processing time to release the prisoner, along with the Turkey Trot, will delay the release, Pete Hegseth begins to film the whole situation angrily. South Park’s celebration begins in a full-fledged manner.

Stan and his group begin to check the number of people joining in for the competition. The scene cuts to Pete Hegseth speaking about the town while working out. He then gets a call from the president, who asks him if he was able to get the prisoner. Hegseth informs him that he was not able to get the prisoner yet, as he is getting resistance from the local police force.

The president then tells Hegseth not to “just make a bunch of content” but rather to “actually go and do something”. The Turkey Trot race begins, and it almost seems as if the whole town came to race so that they can win the race. Seeing the huge crowd for the race with his binoculars, Pete Hegseth thinks that it is an uprising.

He begins to plan how to get the man out of the prison; however, his focus is mainly on creating “content”. Right then, Kristi Noem arrives to give them support in the whole operation. This episode then takes a hilarious turn. As the runners approach Pete Hegseth, he fires a tear gas bomb. The runners get completely bewildered by the situation.

Pete Hegseth then begins to attack and catch the runners. This episode of the series ends with Tolkien winning the race despite not wanting to race. Hegseth also gets arrested for his actions. This episode definitely shows the distinct humor for which this series is famed.
