South Park is giving the fans a golden opportunity to be a part of the show
The arrival of the new season on July 9 has already excited the sitcom's fans, but the news of one of them actually getting a chance to become a part of the show has taken the level of excitement to a new level. The news about this exciting offer was shared in the fundraising platform, Prizeo, which reads:
"We are proud to partner with Charitybuzz to help those affected by the wildfires that devastated Los Angeles earlier this year. A majority of our crew and the South Park production studio are in Los Angeles and several people were directly impacted by the fires in Pasadena, Altadena, and Palisades, which makes your support and donations even more meaningful. This cause means a lot to us — and so do the fans who have supported us all these years. We can’t wait to see one of you in the show."
You can participate in the fundraising event with a minimum donation of $10, which will give you 100 entries. With $25, you get 250 entries, meaning the number of entries is tenfold the amount of donation. However, there is also a chance to enter the competition free of cost. For that, you have to fill out a form provided on the Prizeo website to participate in the competition.
An important rule for participating is the age limit. Only people who are 18 and above can take part in the event, which will be open from May 21 to June 27.
Although the winner of the fundraising event’s character will be one of the background characters, living in the same neighbourhood as Stan, Kenny, Kyle, and Eric Cratmen would surely be exciting for true-blue fans. They will also get a signed poster from the creators of the show, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, where their character will appear with the main characters of South Park.
More on South Park
After a break of two years, the animated show will finally be back, but not on HBO Max where the 26 seasons so far are available to stream. This time the show will be available on Paramount+, where special episodes of the series have been available since 2021. Furthermore, with the teaser trailer shared recently, South Park is expected to return with satirical takes on several real-life events that have taken place.
Other than that, the new opportunity for fans encourages them to help the casualties of the Wildfires in Los Angeles by donating as much as they can through the SoCal Fire Fund, and the initiative seems like a commendable effort by the South Park producers.
