The sad news is that there will be no new episode on January 16, but don't fret because this is just a tiny pause and is only a tiny part of the channel's normal schedule rhythm.
Episode 8 has been titled "Horizons", and the story moves into a tense stretch since the season has 10 episodes in total.
Previously on Episode 7 of House of Ashur, opened with the tension straight after Opiter's death, as Ashur realizes the estate will go to an auction instead of falling into his hands. Suspecting Caesar and Cornelia at first, he later understands his own bragging pushed Proculus to act.
Achillia rushes back into training despite her injured hand, while Tarchon targets her weakness during the sparring. Needing money and allies, Ashur makes a risky deal with Cornelia, but it collapses at the auction when she pulls funding.
Seeing an opening, Ashur and Cossutia set a trap for Proculus. He sends the Brothers Ferox and hired men to kill Ashur, but then Korris steps in and wipes them out, sparing one man to send a warning back. Korris regains his purpose and aligns with Ashur.
Meanwhile, Celadus trains Achillia with a spear, stirring painful memories that affect her control in the arena.
With this, Episode 8 of House of Ashur is also surely moving towards bigger clashes and tougher choices. The IMDB synopsis gives a tease of what's to come ahead. It reads:
"Achillia prepares for her return to the arena, while Ashur faces a devastating setback."
This logline already hints at danger, pressures, and shifting power. The gap for the episode might feel long but the story promises plenty of action for the upcoming episode.
