Fox's fan-favorite reality series Special Forces: World's Toughest Test is returning for Season 4, and the network has announced a stellar cast of 18 celebrity recruits brave enough to face some of the toughest mental and physical challenges on earth, all against the backdrop of Morocco's desert terrain. Among the new stars were athletes, social media influencers, and other reality TV personalities, alongside big names like Jussie Smollett and Teresa Giudice, along with her daughter Gia Giudice.
Among this season's roster are the pairing of family pairs and married couples, including Teresa and Gia Giudice, Shawn Johnson East and her husband Andrew East, and Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker, despite all being related or in a relationship. Former NFL players Randall Cobb, Johnny Manziel, and Nick Young are also scheduled to attend, along with fitness star Christie Pearce Rampone, model Chanel Iman, and influencer Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia.
Season 4 premiered on FOX last week on Hulu. As usual, there are no audience votes in the format; instead, candidates must complete difficult challenges to score their place in the competition. Astonishing tests including partner-based urban navigating, dark tunnel escapes, and helicopter extractions, and more.
Meet the cast of Special Forces Season 4
Kody Brown
Kody Brown, who is well-known for his work on Sister Wives, is competing in a very different field this season of Special Forces: solitary endurance and mental challenges. Even though Brown's life is centered on polygamy and complicated families, he embarks on the harsh route by himself. His quest for mental fortitude and physical stamina stands in stark contrast to his typical reality-based stories.
Jussie Smollett
Season 4 of Special Forces marks actor and singer Jussie Smollett's comeback to the spotlight, his first significant on-screen role since the high-profile scandal surrounding a 2019 event he claimed was a hate crime. Smollett, who has now made amends and settled legally, travels to Morocco to prove himself in harsh survival situations that stand in stark contrast to his previous Hollywood fame.
Teresa Giudice
Real-world royalty The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice teams up with her daughter Gia for Special Forces Season 4, but they compete against each other as individuals rather than as teammates. Teresa swaps her suburban New Jersey glitz and drama for physicality and loneliness, which brings the realities of the veteran experience into sharp relief with the international challenge course.
