As soon as she gets the slap, Yoon Bom wakes up, with he hands shaking. She's confused why the dream comes back every time, even though she has left Seoul. The episode then reveals that Bom used to be an energetic teacher in Seoul, well-known for her sharp storytelling skills which even gave her a nickname "Story Slayer".

Not only this, but she used to be so good at gatherings that all the attention was given to her. But now, she lives in the quiet town of Sinsu, teaches ethics, and dresses entirely in black.

Yoon Bom keeps to herself and avoids attention so much that even when her coworkers gossip about her, they don’t realize she’s standing right there listening. She even carries a dull face, which makes her look sadder.

Episode 1 of Spring Fever continues, and the routine atmosphere of the school is shaken when Seon Jae-gyu arrives. He is tall, very well built and has a large dragon tattoo on his arm.

As soon as he arrives, the teachers become panicked. Whispers of who he really is spread among the teachers and create an image of Jae-gyu as a violent criminal who is capable of committing extreme acts of violence.

Jae-gyu is at the school for one reason only: to confront the school about why his nephew, Seon Han-gyeol, was denied a school award despite being one of the best students in the entire school.

The school's reason for denying the award is particularly heartless. They claim that Han-gyeol does not have any parents. Jae-gyu wastes no time in telling the teacher how rude they have been with Han-gyeol.

He even explains how he raised the young man on his own, and since his parents passed away Jae-gyu has been proving to be the best guardian. When Yoon Bom sees him, she feels a little scared but agrees with what Jae-gyu said.

She also knows Han-gyeol and belives that the school shouldn't behave this way. Han-gyeol's parents are no more and it's not his fault. The episode of Spring Fever moves forward and Jae-gye makes sure the teachers know this and do not dare to exclude him from any important event.

Rather than being scared like everyone else in episode 1 of Spring Fever, Bom is more curious. After a bad experience followed by a late-night meeting near her house, Bom begins to question whether or not Jae-gyu is really as scary as everyone thinks he is.

She begins to have doubts about his reputation when she sees him in a relaxed setting, having a meal with the people. They appear to be just normal, friendly people, not at all threatening. And then she also thinks that the tattoo on his hand isn't real as well.

The next day, in episode 1 of Spring Fever, the teachers are all set for the parent-teacher meeting. However, none of them plan to meet Jae-gyu so they leave it to Yoon Bom and leave before the man arrives.

While Yoon Bom feels a little uneasy, Ja-gyu is completely relaxed around him. He confirms her name, which only makes her feel more uneasy. As episode 1 ends, there's another figure in Seoul, named Choi Yi-joon.

Choi Yi-joon is a lawyer now and is planning to file a case against Jae-gyu. Though many details aren't revealed, Yi-joon does mention being bullied during his school time, and now it's payback time.
