Oh My Ghost Clients, a new South Korean fantasy-action comedy, is being well-received by fans for its entertaining story about labor attorney Noh Mu-jin. The fun twist to this series is that Mu-jin doesn't represent living laborers, but dead ones.
That's right. After he survives a near-death experience, Mu-jin is granted the ability to see ghosts. The spirits he sees are workers who died in industrial accidents, and they come to him for a remedy to their unfinished business on the job.
Interestingly, Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 1 also features a Squid Game Season 1 actor. As seen in the opening shot, Mu-jin is observing an industrial area, where his eyes catch a worker in a life-threatening situation, just seconds away from being severely injured by heavy machinery.
The attorney pulls him away on time, and we see it's none other than the Squid Game Season 1 actor, Anupam Tripathi. Fans of the South Korean thriller would immediately remember him as Player 199, named Ali Abdul.
In this new comedy series, Tripathi made a brief appearance as Nimal, one of the workers at the site. When he's saved by Mu-jin, the supervisor shows up and starts yelling at him.
