Squid Game Season 3 dropped on Netflix on June 27, 2025, and has already grabbed everyone’s attention. The latest and final chapter of Squid Game gave us an ending to Gi-hun’s heartwrenching story. Aside from bringing Gi-hun and the Front Man in front of each other, the final season also brought another character to confront the Front Man– Detective Jun-ho, who is also his younger brother.
After searching for the Island for almost one and a half seasons, Jun-ho finally reached the Island, but it was too late and minutes away from exploding, which made his reunion with his brother, the Front Man/In-ho (Lee Byung-hun), brief and incomplete.

Does Jun-ho confront his brother in Squid Game Season 3? Details revealed
In season 2, Hwang Jun-ho, played by Wi Ha-joon, teamed up with Woo-seok and Gi-hun to destroy the game and save the lives of the people who went to play this time. Gi-hun entered the game to destroy it from within, while Jun-ho and Woo-seok, with their team of mercenaries, began to look for the Island.
In Squid Game Season 3, Jun-ho's search ended, but after several losses to his team at the hands of Captain Park, who turned out to be one of the Pink soldiers, who was distracting him from reaching the Island. However, Woo-seok looks into him and finds the proof, but before confronting him, Captain Park kills all of them, leaving only two alive before Jun-ho kills him.
He gets help from Player 246, who was rescued by No-eul as they find him being attacked by several pink soldiers, outside the Island. He finally tells Jun-ho where to go. As Jun-ho reaches the Island in the last episode of the season, he tries to find his brother, the Front Man, whom he notices at the game arena.
Jun-ho gets his attention when he breaks the glass panel between them, but In-ho/the Front Man sees him and turns around and leaves with the winner of this game– player 222’s daughter. Jun-ho calls his brother and asks him why he did all of this–a question he has been trying to find an answer to since encountering him in season 1. However, In-ho just keeps walking without answering any of his brother’s questions.
Jun-ho failed to get an answer on why In-ho became the Front Man. However, In-ho sent the baby to Jun-ho with the money she had won by being the sole survivor of the game in Squid Game Season 3.
