Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures season 3 ending explained: Apexx takes over Rek's invention in The Welcome Festival

Rek is the official troublemaker of the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures season 3. Towards the finale, Tenoo is all set to celebrate the Welcome Festival, a festival to celebrate new Jedi younglings. For the preparation, the three Jedi younglings also make an effort, seeing the festival with hope.
Rek, being an inventor, creates Apexx, who is his battle droid. While his intentions for this battle droid were certainly not bad, as he just wanted someone to be there for him, he ultimately sees Apexx destroying the festival with the help of a remote in order to frighten the Jedi. While Rek came for rescue, he is being taken away.
After the droids started behaving strangely, Kai, Nubs, and Lys realized that something was very different in the festival and thought Rex was behind it all because of his disappearance. However, they soon come to know about the truth that Apexx is behind it all after they find Rek.
Rek fixes the situation by talking to Apexx

After Rek tells about his true intentions behind creating Apexx, the younglings approach him to talk to Apexx in order to stop him. The group is soon joined by Cyrus, who came to help them out. However, that doesn't work in the beginning, as Apexx's actions only lead to more disturbances, even after the younglings try new moves and new tricks on him.
After seeing the situation, Rek talks to his invention, Apexx, opening his heart on friendship and how being angry is not the answer. Apexx takes the feelings into consideration and gives up on the remote. This ultimately saves the festival.
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures season 3: Master Yoda arrives at Tenoo
After the situation cools down, Master Yoga arrives at the Tenoo festival with the three new younglings. During the interaction, Kai gives back Yoda's old lightsaber and thanks him. At the same time, he understands the intention behind Yoda bringing them here. It was not only for a fight but also to learn about friendship and trust and to learn.
