All’s Fair, Hulu's upcoming ten-episode legal drama, had its world premiere on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the DGA Theater Complex. One of the show's biggest highlights is one of its main stars, Kim Kardashian, who is playing Allura Grant. At the red carpet premiere of the series, the cast and showrunner Ryan Murphy gave interviews to several entertainment outlets.

One of these interviews is the one with The Hollywood Reporter. In that interview, Ryan Murphy first revealed his first collaboration with the famous model turned actress. The All’s Fair creator revealed that before American Horror Story: Delicate, Murphy pitched a reality show to the Kardashian family at their home. However, the well-known showrunner himself admitted that this pitch failed. His exact words were:

"I went to Kris’ house and I did something I’ve never done in my career, which was I brought a reality pitch, and it wasn’t good. I started my pitch, and I was kind of excited. Anybody in the future who pitches to Kim, you’ve lost Kim when she starts texting on her phone. I finished my pitch and I was sort of nervous and Kris said, ‘That was really good sweetie, but you should write a role for Kim.’"

Ryan Murphy reveals that his failed pitch led to future collaborations with Kim Kardashian, like American Horror Story: Delicate and All’s Fair:

It should be noted that Ryan Murphy's words are meant to be taken in jest rather than bitterness. Moreover, Murphy and Kim Kardashian's collaborations have proven beneficial for both. Kardashian shocked a lot of fans with her role in American Horror Story: Delicate, and now it seems that she is set to do the same with the upcoming Ryan Murphy series, All’s Fair.

Murphy himself promised that his upcoming legal drama is both aspirational and inspirational and that it will bring chic fashion back on the TV screen in a big way. He further thanked the fans for the tremendous response to the trailer released on October 8, 2025:

“For all of us on the All’s Fair group chat, we’re very astounded by this fact. In between talking about vaginal rejuvenation tips, we wrote, ‘What does this mean? How is this possible?’ We’re so grateful. I myself pondered that question and then I kind of understood it. 134 million views of a trailer is something that’s usually granted to superhero movies. And when you think about it, with this cast, we’ve given the world what they really need right now, and that’s cultural superheroes.”

What is the legal drama about?

The ten-episode legal drama revolves around female divorce lawyers as they attempt to establish their own law firm after leaving a male-dominated one. Based on the trailer, it seems that Kim Kardashian's Allura Grant and Sarah Paulson's Carrington Lane are engaged in a game of one-upmanship for a mysterious reason. The official logline for the series reads:

“Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances — both in the courtroom and within their own ranks. In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game — they change it.”

The first three episodes of All’s Fair will stream together on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
