Among the scenes that will give you goosebumps while watching Stranger Things Season 5 is the Karen vs Demogorgon scene in episode 2. Just when the creature is about to lay his hands on Holly, Karen shouts and hits him with a glass bottle until she's attacked.

The moment is undeniably scary and heartbreaking to watch as a mother is fighting a monster and later sees Holly being taken away. As mentioned above, fans can watch the entire making of this scene and insights from the makers in the latest video shared by Stranger Things.

The creators of Stranger Things Season 5 said:

"It was our dream to do a supernatural home invasion sequence, essentially. The fact that the Wheeler house has been safe from all of this... it makes it that much more horrifying that it is breached."

They also called the sequence one of the "most complicated" ones in Stranger Things Season 5, as it took a lot of "planning". It was storyboarded and pre-vis'd. The team used cranes and used three removable walls that can be seen being broken in the episode.

As for the cast, Nell Fisher also shared that she was tied with a harness and had to keep her leg straight to show that she was being pulled by the Demorgorgon, which took a lot of strength. At the same time, Cara Buono also gave her all.

The two actresses even stayed in water for a few minutes to shoot the bathtub scene, in which Karen tries to hide herself and Holly below the foam. The Duffer brothers also wanted the cast to perform most of the sequences, which they did.

Buono also shed light on the destruction of the entire Wheeler house, which brought back flashbacks from Season 1. While talking about the destruction, the actress said:

"I was very affected by seeing it. It brought back the memory when the Duffers said, 'Come see your house. We just finished building the Wheeler house'... Flash forward to now, this is the end of the house."

The video also features the stunt team, explaining how they helped Fisher and Buono work on the sequence. The makers can also be seen praising how Nancy and Karen share similarities in Stranger Things Season 5.
