The new Apple TV+ series Stick premiered on June 4, 2025, with the first three episodes dropping together, setting up the storyline and the premise. The show has a similar tone to Ted Lasso but is set in the world of golf. It follows the journey of Pryce Cahill, played by Owen Wilson, an optimistic former professional golfer. The story opens with his ex-wife selling their former home, and he has to let go of his past. He encounters a teen named Santiago Wheeler with raw potential for golf. He decides to take him to the leagues.

Stick is created by Jason Keller and comes with a list of some peculiar songs, such as “And It’s Gone” by Caamp, that sets the tone for the first three episodes, and is the main title theme of the show. Read on to explore more such melodies from the sports dramedy.

Stick showcases the lead character, Cahill, dealing with the aftermath of divorce, financial struggles, and a fading sense of purpose, while also blending this world with that of the fast-paced world of sports, passion, determination, and goal. Therefore, the show's music is versatile, serving multiple undertones within the show's world.

As mentioned, “And It’s Gone” by Caamp serves as the main title theme and plays in Episodes 1–3. While episode 1 comes with more sets of music like "Pass the Hat" by Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, "Rag and Bone” by The White Stripes, "La Grange” by ZZ Top, and “Strangers Room” by Graham Nash & David Crosby. Episode 2 is titled 'Grossweiner’s Law' and along with the main title theme it features “20th Century Boy” by T. Rex, “Bad Thing” by King Tuff, “My Sharona” by The Knack, and “The Boys Are Back In Town” by Thin Lizzy.

Episode 3 is titled 'Daddy Issues' and features songs like “Baba O’Riley” (Pickin’ On version), “Baba O’Riley” by The Who, and “Brainwashed” by The Kinks. Along with these, another track from the show that is getting popular is “See It Through” by The Cactus Blossoms.


In addition to this, composer Zachary Dawes provided the original score for the series, with Jonathan Leahy serving as music supervisor. Episode 4 of Stick just dropped on Wednesday, 11 June, 2025, and the weekly release of episodes will continue till the season finale (Episode 10) on July 23, 2025.
