The Stranger Things 5 official trailer is finally out to prepare us for a final battle against Vecna in Hawkins, one last time. It was announced only yesterday on the official social media of the show that the trailer was set to be released today. The moment fans have been waiting for since the release dates were announced for the final chapter of Hawkins' war against Vecna is finally here.
The Hawkins crew gets back together for the final time in the eight-episode final season.

Stranger Things 5 trailer takes us right back to Hawkins and the Upside Down
Well, the Upside Down and Hawkins were two different places up until Stranger Things Season 4, but if Eleven and her gang fail to defeat Vecna in the final battle, this may be a thing of the past.
The official trailer, two minutes and forty seconds long, takes us right back into the Upside Down and Vecna, with Vecna saying:
"At long last, we can begin."
The very first words in the trailer set the ambience that something very horrific and dreadful is on the way. The next shots in the Stranger Things 5 trailer cut to Hawkins and the gang, who are under a government-imposed lockdown in their own town.
Unlike previous seasons, which found the gang leading a normal life in Hawkins until supernatural forces intervened, this season is set to throw the kids right in the middle of chaos. The everyday life of Hawkins is nothing like it once was, as they are surrounded by cameras and guards at all times, until Mike appears, talking to Eleven:
"We're really starting to lose it. Being stuck in here, no end in sight, maybe tonight is our break. We find Vecna, we end this once and for all. Together"
What comes next is a montage of the gang fighting the final battle against Vecna at different fronts. Suffering and loss are at the forefront of Stranger Things 5, with many of them breaking down in the face of the battle, while Eleven warns them:
"This isn't like one of your campaigns. You don't get to write the ending. Not this time."
But these kids have been through hell and back in the last decade that Stranger Things has spanned, and they are not going to give up without a fight, however hard it gets, as Nancy says:
"He's planning to end our world. And he's not gonna stop, till we're drained of every last ounce of suffering"
Vecna appears for the final few seconds in the Stranger Things 5 trailer, and with him is Will. Vecna's control over Will was the thing that got us started on this journey, and this is how we get to the end:
"William, you are going to help me. One last time."
Hawkins might be cursed, but it always fights back in the face of Vecna, and Stranger Things 5 will be no different. On the final adventure, all of Hawkins joins together for their final battle against Vecna, and no matter the cost, no matter the loss, they will save their town.
Only time will tell if the cost on Hawkins might be too high this time around.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 releases on November 26, and Volume 2 is scheduled for this Christmas on Netlfix.
