Stranger Things Season 5 is over, yet the buzz remains.

The internet's filled with theories, discussions, and speculations. Whether it was a perfect end or not remains a hot topic. The finale had some heartwarming moments, but the rooftop reunion tops the list. Yes, the scene where Robin, Steve, Jonathan, and Nancy spoke about what's going on with their lives.

But that's not all. The real shocker came when Nancy revealed that she had dropped off Emerson. Robin jokingly says she always knew Nancy would be a Navy SEAL (a remark quite appropriate for Nancy, given her fearless choice to be bait and fight against the Mind Flayer until she was cornered). Nancy admits she was done with school and academics, and she finally found her true calling. She reveals she has left Emerson so she could join the Boston Herald as a trainee journalist. Robin replies,

"Nancy Wheeler, still full of surprises."

Jonathan looks at Nancy and gives her a warm smile with eyes beaming with pride. It's heartwarming to see Nancy finally living her life on her own terms. Continue reading to know more.

Nancy Wheeler, following her dreams, is one of the best moments in Stranger Things Season 5

Nancy Wheeler starts as a typical high school student trying to fit in; her best friend Barb's death shakes her world. By the end, she becomes independent and fearless. She evolves from a relatable teenager to a fearless gun-wielding saviour.

In Stranger Things Season 5, when Holly gets kidnapped by Vecna and the Demogorgons attack The Wheelers, Nancy steps up. She becomes a pivotal member of Operation Beanstalk. She bravely faces the military and takes down a bunch of armed forces like a total badass. In the end, when the Mindflayer attacks the group, Nancy chooses to be the bait and repeatedly shoots it, almost taking it down until the bullets run out, and she's cornered. Her friends attack the Mindflayer from the cliff and successfully kill it.

But what's more satisfying is to watch Nancy finally follow her dreams. In the end, she chooses herself and her ambitions. She drops out of Emerson to pursue a journalism trainee position at the Boston Herald. Nancy knows what she wants now, and she's not afraid to walk on that path. After years of fighting monsters, the end feels hopeful and earned.

What happens to Jonathan, Steve, and Robin at the end of Stranger Things Season 5?

The terrace reunion was one of the heartwarming scenes of the finale episode. Robin, Steve, Jonathan, and Nancy spoke from the heart. Steve reveals that he is saving up to buy his rad place in Forest Hill. He's now working as a baseball coach and a Sex Education teacher at Hawkins school (a pretty chill one).

Jonathan has finally made it to NYU. He's working on a new project, a film that revolves around anti-capitalism and cannibalism. Jonathan even has a working title for it, and it's called The Cannibal. Meanwhile, Robin's studying at Smith College in Massachusetts.

As they discuss their current life and future, they admit that no matter what, they will miss hanging out with each other. They finally decide to meet at Robin's uncle's place every month.
