More about Arian Moayed and Wonder Man

Arian Moayed is an actor known for his work on Succession, who is all set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the new Disney+ series Wonder Man, where he will reprise his role as Agent P. Cleary, a senior member of the Department of Damage Control. Fans first saw Moayed play this role in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and then again in Ms. Marvel (2022). This is particularly when Cleary was entrusted with examining the ramifications of superpowered acts.

Moayed's job as Agent Cleary is crucial to the overall MCU since he investigates the public exposure of Spider-Man's secret identity, appearing in several crucial scenes across the MCU. Fans are excited to watch how Cleary's narrative unfolds in Wonder Man, which is scheduled to premiere later this year.

Apart from his MCU appearances, Moayed has had a successful career in television, theater, and cinema. He has primarily received critical praise for his performance as Stewy Hosseini in Succession, which garnered him two Primetime Emmy nominations. Moayed has also starred in series such as Inventing Anna, Love Life, and Nobody Wants This. His filmography includes You Hurt My Feelings (2023) and House of Spoils (2024).

Moayed is a seasoned theatrical actor and has also received two Tony Award nominations for his roles in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (2011) and A Doll's House (2023), demonstrating his versatility and brilliance. His theater experience includes co-founding the Waterwell Theatre Company in New York, where he has taken part in several plays throughout the years.

Wonder Man is scheduled to make its premiere later this year. It centers on Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a Hollywood actor who develops superhuman abilities and becomes Wonder Man.

Other noteworthy actors will appear in Wonder Man. This mainly includes Sir Ben Kingsley, who will reprise his role as Trevor Slattery, a character initially introduced in Iron Man 3 (2013) and subsequently in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously worked on Shang-Chi, has developed the series.

Given that Wonder Man will examine the relationship between celebrity culture, superpower, and Hollywood, Moayed's comeback as Agent Cleary is expected to provide yet another level of complexity to the MCU's developing story.

Fans will be able to stream Wonder Man on Disney+ tentatively from December 2025 onwards.
