"Such a frickin' sweetheart": Love Is Blind star Kait opens up about her feelings for Nick and her fears of being toxic

Love Is Blind Season 9 featured singles looking for romantic connections during various blind dates. Two of such singles were Kait and Nick. The two went through several blind dates and found a connection with each other.

After one of their dates, Kait recalled her previous relationship and getting cheated on. She also talked about her relationship with Nick and how it grew between the two.

Opening up about her connection with Nick, Love Is Blind star Kait confessed to the cameras:

"I have never questioned our connection once. He is so sincere. He's so secure within our relationship. He is such a frickin' sweetheart. I think part of me is just wondering, like, and maybe this is, like, me being toxic. Like, what's wrong? Like, how can you be so perfect? You know what I mean?"

Love Is Blind Season 9: Kait and Nick express their feelings for each other during one of their blind dates

Love Is Blind Season 9 stars Kait and Nick went through several blind dates and learned more about each other. Before his another blind date with Kait, Nick confessed to the cameras about his dates with Kait.

"Sixteen amazing women on the other side, and it's fun. We have great dates, but the relationship I have with Kait feels like it is so far beyond the other connections that I'm having right now. we agree on so many fundamental things. We've seen what a future could look like together, and it's wonderful."

Soon, he went on his blind date with Kait. When she asked him how he was, he stated that he felt the best he had felt the entire time there, so far. He revealed going for a run and making breakfast that morning.

Listening to him talk about making breakfast, Kait asked him:

"When you're a dad someday, we're having family breakfast. What are you making?"

His choice of breakfast to make was chunky monkey pancakes with banana and chocolate chips. Love Is Blind star Kait also shared her dad's dish, which was crepes. While she opened up about her dad making crepes stuffed with jelly and powdered sugar on them, Nick told her:

"Sometimes it's just the small things that makes us the happiest."

Later, when Nick asked her about her best pickup lines, Kait said that she wasn't a shy person. But, she would never go to someone and tell them they were "hot."

"Fair enough. Every time I talk to you, I feel like I leave just buzzing. Like, I'm smiles. I go back into the hall, they're like, Did you get married? I'm like, No, I'm just happy, you know. I love it," said Nick.

Later, in her private confession, Love Is Blind star Kait recalled her previous relationship. She recalled getting engaged after an eight-year-long relationship. However, after he mom's passing, her partner cheated on her. She noted that she and her partner were "super physically connected."

Referring to the physical connection, Kait said that:

"Maybe it made me ignore some red flags. Which is why I love spending time with Nick."

Further in her confession, Love Is Blind star Kait added that Nick was "so sincere" and "so secure" within their relationship. She also questioned how a connection could be "so perfect" and whether she was "toxic."

She then asked Nick if he had any hesitations about her. With no hesitation, Nick noted that he was trying to think about it critically. He mentioned feeling reassured by her. He added that he felt that Kait could be the one he's been looking for.
