Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter
Harvey is one of the top officials in the firm, known for his problem-solving skills and sharp wit. However, in episode 8, his position is under threat as the pressure around Mike's credentials comes to the surface. Being someone loyal to Mike, he thinks he could be blamed for trusting Mike under such circumstances. This changes his attitude towards Mike in the episode as he wishes to save himself first.

Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross
Mike Ross is the brilliant college dropout who has a visual memory. He is in the facing an "identity crisis" as the truth about him not being from Harvard University Law School is out in the open. This is what makes this episode most emotionally charged, as Mike is fearful and feels guilt for what he has done, and that this can cost him his job.
After Suits, the actor also contributed to Sneaky Pete and A League of Their Own, proving his versatility and ability to play complex characters.

Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson
Jessica Pearson is the managing director of Hardman and commands authority and respect. It was Jessica who sensed something off and eventually discovered the truth about Mike's credentials. She tells Harvey to fire him for being involved and orchestrating a fraudulent activity.
Torres is widely known for her work in Firefly and Serenity, as well as Alias and 24. She also got to reprise her role in the Suits spin-off Pearson, continuing his command and power position.
Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt
Litt in episode 8 is a comic relief and also becomes part of the emotional drama unfolding. He is ambitious and insecure about his position, and this is what draws the tension, expanding his arc. He becomes the most unpredictable character and eventually also blackmails Jessica for hiding Mike's fraud.
