Kyeong-do’s past emotions resurface with the present circumstances in Surely Tomorrow Episode 6
Episode 6 of Surely Tomorrow begins with Ji-woo and Kyeong-do returning to Ji-woo’s house after their date. While driving, they discuss the enjoyment they had at the amusement park. After Kyeong-do drops off Ji-woo, she invites him for dinner. Kyeong-do accepts the invite. The two of them eat while watching a movie. They even spend the night together.
The next day, Ji-woo even prepares Kyeong-do’s clothes for his office. After Kyeong-do reaches his office, he gets called by his senior, who is concerned about his choice not to go to Canada because of Ji-woo. She tries to make him understand that he is choosing wrong. However, Kyeong-do is adamant about the choice he has made.
As this episode of Surely Tomorrow progresses, Kyeong-do calls Ji-woo’s sister, Ji-yeon. She tells him that she is in the office cafeteria, which Kyeong-do promptly arrives at. After he arrives, Kyeong-do sees that Ji-yeon’s situation is not good. She is having an episode. Kyeong-do decides to pretend to have lunch with her to stop the speculations. After Kyeong-do brings Ji-yeon back to her office, she tells him that she will be telling the truth about her health to Ji-woo soon.
This episode of Surely Tomorrow continues with Ji-woo and Kyeong-do meeting. The two of them reminisce about their past. While discussing, Kyeong-do asks Ji-woo about her decision to leave him. It is then revealed that Ji-woo wanted to stay at Kyeong-do's house.
However, her family's situation made her choose differently. Ji-woo understood that her presence in Kyeong-do's life could bring their mother's anger on him. He is already suffering because of his father's injury, so the additional struggle of having their mother's wrath on him could bring him further trouble. Kyeong-do did not expect this. He thought that his economic situation was the reason for Ji-woo's decision.
Kyeong-do begins to get severely impacted by the fact that he is hiding the truth about Ji-yeong from Ji-woo. He begins to prepare himself to tell the truth, thinking about the scenarios that he could come across after Ji-woo knows the truth. On the other hand, Ji-woo sees that Kyeong-do is getting messages from Ji-yeon. It raises her concern.
After Kyeong-do comes out, Ji-woo asks him about the call and the messages. However, before they are able to discuss any further, Ji-yeon calls Ji-woo. They meet outside Ji-woo’s house. Ji-yeon tells Ji-woo that she should join the company. Ji-woo accepts Ji-yeon’s proposal.
Surely Tomorrow episode 6 ends with Ji-woo and Kyeong having a party for her new job. Kyeong-do begins to understand that his feelings for Ji-woo are still very much present; however, he is scared. He then gives a gift to Ji-woo for her new job. This episode of the series perfectly captures the revival of the emotions between Ji-woo and Kyeong-do once again.
