Surely Tomorrow arrives with yet another intriguing episode, especially because of the revelation of the truth, which happens in this episode. It cannot be denied that Surely Tomorrow’s distinct storyline, featuring the depiction of the struggles of the characters, along with the steady development, makes this series worth watching.
Episode 9 of this series starts as a continuation of the previous episode with Kyeong-do and Ji-woo on their way to fulfill their plan.

Ji-woo struggles as Ji-yeon’s condition deteriorates in Surely Tomorrow Episode 9
Surely Tomorrow Episode 9 starts with Kyeong-do and Ji-woo at Malaga, waiting to pitch their plan to Bella Jin. They come across Bella, but she refuses to listen to their plans about Jarin Apparel. Ji-woo begins to lose hope, but Kyeong-do decides to keep pursuing their plan. They decide to wait outside Bella Jin’s house for the whole day.
At night, when Bella Jin finally comes out of her house, Kyeong-do and Ji-woo try to make her listen to their plan once again. However, Bella Jin does not want to leave her current position and join Jarim Apparel. As this episode of Surely Tomorrow continues, Min-woo keeps trying to sabotage Ji-woo’s place in the company.
Ji-woo and Kyeong-doo keep on spending time in Malaga when they get a text from Bella Jin. She informs them about another designer, Lucas, whom she recommended. Ji-woo finally gets the good news she has been waiting for. If Lucas joins Jarim Apparel, things will definitely move in a positive direction.
While Ji-woo goes to meet Kyeong-do’s parents, she gets a call from Lucas, finally confirming that he will be joining Jarim Apparel. On the other hand, Ji-yeon decides to meet Bae Jun-soo. They discuss whether Jun-soo would be able to invest in their company because of Lucas’ arrival.

As this episode of the series continues, Woo-sik gets a call from his boss informing him that he needs to be the replacement of the lead actor, as he has been injured. Woo-sik will not take over the rest of the show. Woo-sik’s friends, along with Kyeong-do and Ji-woo, attend his performance. Kyeong-do and Ji-woo reminisce about the significance the play has in their lives.
Towards the end of this episode of Surely Tomorrow, Ji-yeon’s secretary keeps adding medicine to Ji-yeon’s food to make her ill. Min-woo asked her to increase the dosage so that her condition would worsen.
Ji-yeon tries to avoid drinking the medicine, but Min-woo keeps on insisting. Right at the moment she is about to drink the medicine, she gets a call, which prevents her from drinking. Kyeong-do keeps on watching Ji-yeon’s secretary from the installed cameras, where she adds the drugs to Ji-yeon’s food.
At the end of this episode, Ji-yeon’s condition worsens as she has another episode. Min-woo wants to use this opportunity to humiliate her in front of everyone. Kyeong-do arrives at the exact moment before things get complicated.
Ji-woo also comes at that moment and understands that her sister is suffering. This episode of Surely Tomorrow finally brings Ji-woo to the truth. Things are definitely going to get complicated in the upcoming episodes, considering the situation Jarim Apparel is in.
