Survivor Season 49 Episode 10 Recap: A reward challenge, a breakdown, and a blindsiding elimination

Survivor Season 49 Episode 10 aired on November 26, 2025. The latest episode of the CBS show featured the remaining eight finalists.

The castaways took part in a new reward challenge, and the losing team returned to camp frustrated after missing out on food. Cast members, including Kristina, became emotional as the exhaustion and discouragement began to set in.

At the Tribal Council, the latest voting revealed unexpected results. While many participants cooked up their own strategies to vote out their nemesis, a blindsiding elimination resulted in Jawan going home.

The latest episode of Survivor Season 49, titled, Huge Dose of Bamboozle, started with the remaining eight participants. This included:

Sage Ahrens-Nichols, Jawan Pitts, Kristina Mills, Rizo Velovic, Savannah Louie, Sophi Balerdi, aka Soph, Sophie Segreti, and Steven Ramm.

The episode opened with Soph and Steven. While Steven hoped to work with her, Soph was secretly planning to vote him out at the next Tribal Council. Fellow cast members Kristina and Steven planned to eliminate Savannah. There were multiple secrets and secrecy vows among the cast members. This included Steven, Sage, Kristina, Jawan, and more.

Before the latest challenge on Survivor, Kristina talked to Steven. She opened up about feeling low after feeling that she was at the bottom of the list among all the participants. Later, while talking to the show host, Kristina talked about what her mom would have told her.

"Keep doing, baby girl," she said.

There was a backyard picnic reward challenge. For that, Kristina was teamed up with Rizo, Jawan, and Savannah. After she and Rizo failed to balance out the beam, their team lost the task. It resulted in Soph, Sophie, Steven, and Sage's team winning.

The winning team was awarded with chips, cake, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and more delicacies. On the other hand, Jawan caught a fish with his spear and brought it back for his team. Rizo got emotional over losing the task and not having food at their camp.

Further on Survivor, Sage and Jawan met Rizo, Soph, and Savannah to discuss the upcoming Tribal Council. They told Savannah that it would be in her best interest. Sage agreed with Steven's plan and worked with Kristina, Jawan, and Sophie to eliminate Savannah.

For the challenge, the show host announced a twist. If three players were to sit out the challenge, their group would earn enough rice for everyone until the rest of the game. Rizo and Kristina disagreed. The task featured Sophie, Soph, and Steven leading their team. Sophie was safe after she solved the puzzle and won the immunity.

Seeing that, everyone noted Savannah's vulnerable position in the game. Sage aimed for the same. She also wanted Rizo and Kristina to get their idols in the game so that they would be safe and she could target Savannah.

Survivor's latest Tribal Council featured the remaining cast members voting for the upcoming elimination. The show host revealed the votes. They were:

• Jawan: 5 Votes,
• Savannah: 3 Votes,
• Rizo: 1 Vote.

As a result, Jawan was eliminated from the competition. He admitted he had seen himself as a ‘silent killer,’ but the blindside left him stunned.
