AMC has finally unleashed some thrilling new updates on Talamasca: The Secret Order. The highly anticipated third chapter of Anne Rice's Immortal Universe promises to dive deeper into the world of the supernatural, thus connecting it to Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire. During a recent panel at ATX TV Festival, AMC revealed the premiere month and two new cast members joining the show.

This year, Halloween's getting spookier as the supernatural thriller is all set to premiere in October 2025 on AMC and AMC+.

AMC also revealed Celine Buckens (War Horses) and Jason Schwartzman (Pavements) will be joining the star-studded cast of Talamasca: The Secret Order. While Buckens is cast as a series regular, Schwartzman has a guest role in the upcoming supernatural show.

Celine Burkens will play Doris, a strong-willed old soul who resides with her coven of witches on a houseboat. Jason Schwartzman will portray Burton, a charming yet rakish vampire living in a penthouse on Manhattan's Upper Side.

AMC announced the most-awaited Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire will be released in 2026. Even though there is no cast announcement yet, the filming for the latest season involving Sam Reid's Vampire Lestat is all set to begin in Toronto this month. Alexandra Daddario-starring Mayfair Witches Season 3 is officially in development, and will explore the history of witch folklore in Salem.

Talamasca: The Secret Order — Here's what we know about the upcoming Interview with the Vampire spin-off

All six episodes of AMC's Talamasca: The New Order will be released in October 2025. It will delve into the workings of the surveillance organization that monitors the world's vampires, witches, and other supernatural entities. Apart from Schwartzman and Buckens, the cast includes Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.

The plot follows Guy Anatole (Denton), a brilliant law student whose life turns upside down when Helen (McGovern), a veteran of the Talamasca, informs the organization that he has been monitored since childhood. Helen runs the New York Talamasca, and she soon becomes Guy's mentor after suspecting some treachery within the London branch. Richardson-Sellers portrays Oliver, Guy's handler, and a master of disguise. Fitchner plays Jasper, a mysterious and charismatic figure who influences the operations of the London branch.

Although Talamasca has already been featured in both Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches, it remains unconfirmed if there would be a crossover between the shows. In both shows, there has been mention of the supernatural surveillance agency. For instance, remember the time when Talamasca helped Daniel to publish his book in exchange for information about vampires.

Production for Talamasca: The Secret Order began in 2024 and wrapped up earlier this year. Meanwhile, AMC has been teasing the show with cryptic short promotional material, including a teaser website and voiceover from the cast repeating Talamasca's motto:

"We watch and we are always there."

With a story rooted in espionage, gothic horror, and Rice's signature mysticism, Talamasca: The Secret Order is poised to offer fans a new lens of the Immortal Universe- one that sees everything.

John Lee Hancock will serve as an EP and director of Talamasca: The Secret Order. Mark Lafferty will serve as an EP and a showrunner along with Mark Johnson.
