Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary recently shared a video detailing his two beautiful watches on national TV. The investor usually talks about the government, politics, real estate, or finances; however, this time, he showcased his love for timepieces and described the back story of each of them.

It is not new knowledge that Kevin likes to wear two watches, one on each wrist. The ones that he had on that day were in light of the celebration for President Trump's visit to the United Arab Emirates recently, which secured huge investments for the country.

The first one he had on was Chronometre Bleu by F.P. Journe. This happens to be a favorite among collectors because it has geopolitical symbolism. He pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin had worn the same, which has elevated its cost and fame.

The second piece was a lesser-known yet equally compelling watch made by Seddiqi from the UAE. He happens to be a luxury jeweller from the Middle East whose family has supplied the watches to the royal family for generations. Describing his pieces, the Shark Tank investor said,

"I wanted to celebrate that whole trip by Trump to the United Arab Emirates, and I've got two pieces on today. These are both tantalum watches, a really rare metal. One is a Chronometre Bleu, which was actually worn by Putin, which was a part of the whole, 'We wanna get some peace in Ukraine.'

Adding, he said,

This is his watch, made by F.P. Journe. Crazy piece. Beautiful piece. And look at this one. This is made by a jeweller named Seddiqi in the United Arab Emirates. His family has serviced all the royal family for the last 40 years in the Middle East."

Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary describes his two time pieces

Kevin O'Leary, the Shark Tank investor, talking about the price of each of his pieces, said that Chronometre Bleu was priced around $17,000 initially when it launched. However, after being spotted on President Putin, it rose in value and is currently being sold for around $60,000 on the secondary market.

The watch is made of tantulum, a material rarely used in the process of watchmaking due to its density and difficulty to machine. This also adds to its value.

As for the Seddiqi piece, Kevin reveals that it was a limited edition. He loved the wristband of the same, which innovated the design of usual luxury watches by adding a stretchable feature. Kevin expressed,

"But here's the innovation that I love. The band. This thing is stretchy. I thought I wasn't gonna like it. It's so comfortable and comes in multiple colors for men who want to experiment and women.

Continuing, Kevin described,

And it clips on and off. So we're talking about innovation here. Look at how beautiful that thing is. It's an onyx stone. They only made 24 to celebrate the visit, and thank goodness one's on my wrist."

The Shark Tank investor, when asked about the approximate price of this Seddiqi watch, revealed that it is priced around $30,000 right now.
