The trailer wastes no time in throwing the viewers into an imminent, slowly growing storm.

This release also places Task as one of the more gripping add-ons to HBO’s 2025 lineup. The show vouches for a tense, character-driven storyline set in Philadelphia’s blue-collar communities.

Ruffalo takes on the character of Tom, an FBI agent pushed back into fieldwork when a trusted colleague asserts his leadership His target guy?: a family man caught in a spring of heists.
