Taxi Driver Season 3 Episodes 9-10 recap: The Rainbow Taxi team strives to save a trainee

Taxi Driver Season 3 is truly taking the stakes high with the depiction of realistic storylines. In the new season, each and every episode resonates with a distinct realism along with an in-depth exploration of the storylines.

In episode 9 of Taxi Driver Season 3, Do-gi and the Rainbow Taxi team are set to help yet another victim. Ro-mi is a trainee whose life takes a complete turn after she begins her journey.

The Rainbow Taxi team strives to save a trainee in Taxi Driver Season 3 Episode 9 and 10

Taxi Driver Season 3 Episode 9 starts with Do-gi going on a taxi journey in his taxi when he comes across a passenger. This passenger begins to appreciate Do-gi’s music taste as he plays a song during their journey. He is also appreciative of the struggles of the idol life, which further comforts the passenger. The passenger then asks Do-gi to drop her off midway as she wants to take a walk. Do-gi complies without a second thought.

However, just as he is about to drive away, he gets doubtful. He returns to the spot where he left her off. He sees that she has left her belongings and jumped off the bridge. Do-gi jumps right after her and saves her life. He takes her to the hospital and returns to discuss the issue with his team. They find a suicide note in the passenger’s belongings. On the other hand, the passenger, Ro-mi, regains her consciousness at the hospital.

She gets worried about her surroundings. Right then, Ro-mi’s company’s assistant manager arrives to take her back. Ro-mi is reluctant; however, he keeps on urging. The assistant manager is angry at Ro-mi’s actions and even slaps her. Right at that moment, Do-gi arrives in his taxi and saves Ro-mi from the situation. As this episode in Taxi Driver Season 3 progresses, inside the taxi, Ro-mi begins to open up about her situation.

Ro-mi was a high school student with the dream of becoming an idol. She and her friend, Ji-an gets the chance to get signed under a company, which makes them drop out of school to become a full-time trainee. Initially, they were extremely happy about the opportunity they received.

However, soon the extreme pressure of the trainee life took a toll on their minds. As trainees, they had to go through rigorous training sessions. They even had to maintain a strict diet, which even caused them to get malnourished.

As this episode of Taxi Driver Season 3 progresses, it is revealed that the training sessions created immense difficulty for the trainees. One night, Ro-mi gets called for a meeting with the CEO of the company. The assistant manager drives her to a location. However, before they reach the location, the assistant manager gives her something to drink, which causes her to lose consciousness.

The scene then cuts to Ro-mi waking up in an empty bar. She gets worried and runs away. Later that day, she is called by their CEO. The CEO shows her video footage where she is lying unconscious. They warn her that the video can ruin her career and even the career of the group. They will not be able to debut anymore if the video goes out.

After the CEO leaves the room, the assistant manager informs R-mi that if she dates this man, who has made the video of her for a year, the man will delete the video. He urges her to do this so that she can move forward in her career. Ro-mi gets completely shattered and decides to end her life. This takes us back to the present situation with Do-gi and the team diving deep into the case.

They want to help Ro-mi. They decide that Do-gi would disguise himself as the assistant manager and find the source of the video. Do-gi gets into the good books of the CEO and infiltrates the company easily. Through his skills, he even gets the information from the CEO’s laptop. He finds the location where R-mi was taken and decides to go there himself.

Episode 10 of Taxi Driver Season 3 starts with showing a flashback scene about the CEO of the company. In the past, the CEO was also an idol. Before one of her stage performances, she fell and had to get her leg amputated because of the injury. Do-gi and the team go to the club where Ro-mi was taken. They begin to look around to find any clues that could connect to the case.

Go-eun surveys the club through the CCTV camera and finds that CEO Kang is drinking with a man. The girl group prepares for their debut date. Ji-an tries to call Ro-mi to inform her about the debut; however, she does not get a reply. Ro-mi gets Ji-an’s message and wishes that they get to do their debut properly. The Rainbow taxi team keeps on investigating the real motive behind the whole situation.

As the episode of Taxi Driver Season 3 continues, the day of Elements’ debut arrives. Right before the performance, Ji-an gets a headache and faints. The manager takes her to the hospital, leaving only the three girls to perform. As they prepared the choreography as a group of four after Ro-mi left, they began to worry. However, Do-gi comes to the rescue once again in this episode of Taxi Driver Season 3. He enters the stage along with the three other members as the fourth member of the group.

He does the choreography perfectly and even gets the compliments of the judges. During the celebration of the team, the CEO calls Do-gi and tells him to hit Ji-an. Right in the moment when Do-gi is about to kiss Ji-an, Jin-eon arrives and pretends to get angry with Do-gi. Do-gi finally gets the full trust of the CEO. The CEO then takes Do-gi along with her to the meeting, where Do-gi finally finds the truth about the whole plan.

The entertainment company hired the girl group not for them to debut. Her plan was to crush their dream and make them “entertain” clients. The Rainbow Taxi team is completely taken aback by the whole situation. They begin their plan to bring them down. On the other hand, Soo Jung is now chosen to go through the same things that Ro-mi went through. The CEO begins to reprimand her about her actions, making her suffer.

At the club where Soo Jung is supposed to go, Kyung-ku and Jin-eon go in her place, creating a humorous and chaotic situation. At the end of the episode, Go-eun plays a video, which causes CEO Kang and the director to get exposed to the whole world. Do-gi and the Rainbow Taxi team are able to bring out yet another group of opportunistic people.

Do-gi confronts CEO Kang at the end of this episode in Taxi Driver Season 3. She begins to spiral, thinking about the trap she fell into. Getting shocked by the situation, she falls off the building. Do-gi tries to save her, but she decides to end her life.
