What happened in the latest episode 2 of Taxi Driver Season 3?
Episode 2 of Taxi Driver Season 3 features one of the show’s most intense missions yet. It starts with the disturbing killing carried out by Matsuda. When she was killed, all her identifying traces were erased, and investigators suspect she may be a missing Hong Kong resident who vanished two years earlier.
Meanwhile, Do-gi is still operating inside the underground fight scene. Matsuda’s men take notice of his skill, but before Do-gi makes it far, police officers and an Interpol agent corner him. Thanks to Seong-cheol stepping in, it's revealed that Matsuda is involved in crimes like online scams to gambling rings and human trafficking.
While on the mission, Do-gi unknowingly clashed with a real undercover officer and was offered to join the mission. However, he refused to shake hands in the investigation and continues to focus on the Rainbow Taxi mission.
Later in the episode, Go-eun starts searching inside Do-gi's system, but finds it hard to locate the missing girls. This makes it clear that Do-gi needs to learn more about this syndicate and earn Matsuda's loyalty.
Soon after, Do-gi is assigned to guard a secret auction, giving the team the opening to storm the venue and rescue the victims though Iso is still missing. To get closer, they stage a dangerous act where Do-gi appears to betray his own team, earning Matsuda’s full confidence.
This leads to the final showdown: during the team’s ambush, Do-gi pulls Matsuda into the hidden base. Matsuda tries to shoot him, but Interpol ends it. With Iso rescued and the victims freed, the team returns home.
