Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil is set to unmask one of America’s most sadistic murderers.

Over thirty years since his death, Ted Bundy continues to be a name that holds the public in a grip of horror and fascination. His tale has been deconstructed and chronicled to no end. But a new true-crime show sets out to present a perspective that has scarcely been seen before from the eyes of someone who dared to look the monster who posed as Mr. Charming in the face.

The subject of the documentary is the psychological duel between Bundy and the man who played him in an unceasing mind game. This is not merely a matter of cataloguing crimes. It’s about the uncomfortably intimate nature of a killer’s confessions and the creepy, parasitic relationship he developed with law enforcement. What lurks beneath is not merely the legacy of Bundy’s bloodshed, but the dark seduction of evil in the garb of intelligence, charm, and yes, empathy.

Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil and the legacy of America's most notorious killer

Ted Bundy remains one of the most grotesque mysteries in American crime history. Ted Bundy killed at least 30 people, but law enforcement and criminologists believe the actual number may be closer to triple digits, as he terrorised Washington state down to Florida.

Because of his enigmatic charm and good looks, he would fool his young female victims by pretending to be a police officer or an injured man, which allowed him to abduct, rape, and murder many of them before disposing of their bodies. When Ted Bundy went to the electric chair in 1989, he confessed to unspeakable acts, including necrophilia, that disturbed even seasoned investigators.

Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil invites viewers to step into the murky space between justice and horror. This is not a glorification, but a confrontation with the lies he told, the truths he revealed, and the monstrous reality that still haunts America’s criminal landscape.
