This episode brings in a new character. Peter’s sister, Karen, sends Peter a letter. In the letter, she informs that she will be arriving to spend Thanksgiving with them. Peter’s family is completely shocked to find out that Peter has a sister.

This is because he never spoke about her before. As the episode progresses, it is revealed that Peter’s sister used to bully him. Hence, he does not like her. When Kren arrives, she quickly begins to torment Peter again. This episode then shows Peter finally confronting his sister for all the bullying that she has done. He decides to fight her to face his past trauma. This episode blends humor with a subtle depiction of past struggles.


2) Peter goes turkey hunting in Season 13 Episode 5

This episode of the series gives us yet another hilarious storyline featuring Peter and Brian’s journey to save Thanksgiving. The episode starts with Peter getting drunk the day before Thanksgiving and eating the turkey, which they were supposed to eat the next day.

Lois gets extremely angry at Peter’s activity and tells him to bring a new turkey because their guests were supposed to come. Peter and Brian then set out to find turkey. However, they are faced with multiple challenges while they try to secure a turkey.


3) Peter goes to prison in Season 18 Episode 8

This episode of Family Guy brings forth Peter’s incessant attempts to get away from taking any responsibility. As Lois’s family was supposed to arrive to celebrate Thanksgiving at Peter’s house, he got more and more irritated thinking about hosting.

He then tells his friends that they all should spend the night in jail, as it is not as prison is “big and scary”, so that they do not have to host the party. However, things do not turn out as they expected. Peter and his friends are arrested. They are surprised to see that they are not being taken to jail; rather, they are being taken to prison.


4) Family bonding in Season 10 Episode 6

Yet another hilarious yet heartwarming special Thanksgiving episode. This episode starts with Peter hosting the Thanksgiving party. Joe and his family arrive; however, they are not happy, as their son died on this day.

On the other hand, Glenn has an awkward conversation with his father after his father’s surgery. They all sit down to have dinner, when Joe gets a surprise as his dead son comes back. This episode is truly filled with a distinct level of humor, which is very on-brand with the series.


5) Peter and Quagmire’s harmony in Season 12 Episode 7

This episode of the series focuses on Peter's friendship with Quagmire. Quagmire comes to Peter’s house to spend some time together. A bee begins to torment them, which causes them to suddenly realize that they can sing in perfect harmony.

Quagmire tells Peter that they should start singing together. Soon, they begin their journey of singing, which turns complicated after a rivalry begins to develop between the two. The aspect of Thanksgiving arrives at the end of the episode.
