The 9-1-1 franchise is once again expanding with its latest spinoff, 9-1-1: Nashville, set in the heart of the capital of Tennessee. The new series will again follow the franchise's path of highlighting the urgent and emotional nature of the work of emergency responders—police, fire, and EMS units—through their response to high-stakes calls and personal lives. Following the success of the original 9-1-1 franchise in Los Angeles and 9-1-1: Lone Star in Austin, Texas, this Nashville-based show is the franchise's third flagship installment.

From franchise veterans Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, as well as others, 9-1-1: Lone Star attempts to bring new plotlines based on what the city's own culture and dynamics are. The show officially welcomed four new cast members into its main cast, each of whom will play key roles within the realm of emergency services. The casting reveal provides us with more information regarding the characters that will be starring in the series.

Hailey Kilgore stars asTaylor, a special firefighter in that she is not only devoted to her job but is also blessed with an exceptional singing voice. This leaves room for the character to introduce some of Nashville's legendary musical history into the narrative.

Hailey Kilgore, from Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Respect, injects vitality into the role. Taylor's dad goes undercover as a hot dad, a utilitarian one, merging the requirements of firefighting with personal grit with his abilities.

Michael Provost as Ryan in 9-1-1: Nashville

Michael Provost portrays Ryan, a contemporary, rugged-type firefighter. The experience lends a character that will hopefully have a country and city blend of Nashville lifestyle and values.

Provost's work on Insatiable and Fear Street Part Two: 1978 provides him the means to bring Ryan's idealism and passion into the role as well as his adaptation to the pressure of battling fires.

Juani Feliz as Cammi in 9-1-1: Nashville

Juani Feliz acts as Cammi, an ex-surgeon who used to work with trauma patients but is now assigned to the emergency response team because of an addiction to adrenaline. The history of this character teaches medical competence and a bold personality, with both skill and enthusiasm for dangerous rescue missions.

Background richness is added to this multi-faceted character by Feliz's acting experience on series like Harlem and DMZ.

Hunter McVey as Blue in 9-1-1: Nashville

While some early casting reports attributed Hunter Parrish, official casting reports attribute Blue to Hunter McVey, a firefighter who is a rough-around-the-edges bad boy struggling to find his new beat.

Blue's narrative will involve him getting involved in arcs of redemption and self-proving in the firehouse environment. McVey's casting rounds out the diverse cast of responders the show will have.
