The Amazing Race Season 38 kept the globe-trotting chaos going on October 1, 2025, this time dropping teams into the heart of Prague for a leg that tested their balance, memory, and maybe even their sanity. The CBS adventure show follows pairs of racers as they sprint around the world, juggling tricky clues, nerve-wracking challenges, and the constant fear of Phil Keoghan saying those dreaded words:

“You’re the last team to arrive.”

This round kicked off with a scenic train ride to the Czech capital, though any sense of calm vanished once The Amazing Race contestants were asked to walk a plank hundreds of feet in the air. From there, they faced a Detour that split the teams’ strategies, but one duo made a rookie mistake, which was skipping the Detour entirely. After realizing their blunder, they had to double back to finish the challenge, burning precious time and nerves.

In the end, Angela and Lexi came up short on The Amazing Race, waving goodbye to the million-dollar dream. Eleven teams remain and the race isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

How did the contestants on The Amazing Race fare during the Prague leg?

Teams arrived in Prague and immediately located a clue box directing them to a Road Block. This individual challenge required one team member to walk across a narrow plank positioned hundreds of feet above the ground to retrieve their next clue.

The height and exposure tested contestants' nerve and balance. Success meant advancement; hesitation could cost precious time in a competition where minutes often determine survival.

After conquering the plank walk, teams proceeded to a bridge for their Detour, a choice between two equally demanding tasks. The Detour presented teams with strategic options based on their strengths. "Remembering the Crests" challenged memory and research skills. Teams had to search a restaurant for crests representing 11 different villages, identify each village's name, and present the complete list to a historian for verification.

The alternative, "Delivering 48 Glasses," demanded physical endurance and navigation. Teams had to transport 48 glasses somewhere in town without breaking them, a task requiring careful handling while moving quickly through unfamiliar streets. Each option offered distinct advantages. The crest challenge favored detail-oriented teams with strong observational skills. The delivery task suited physically capable pairs confident in their navigation abilities.

Tucker & Eric encountered a major setback on The Amazing Race when they discovered the wrong clue box and proceeded directly to the pit stop without completing their Detour. Phil Keoghan met them with disappointing news: they had to return and finish the required challenge. The mistake could have dropped them to last place, ending their race. However, they managed to complete the Detour quickly enough to still claim fourth place overall. Their recovery demonstrated both the importance of careful navigation and the possibility of bouncing back from significant errors.

What was the final verdict?

Jas & Jag dominated the leg, arriving first at the pit stop. Their reward included a trip for two to Sri Lanka, adding incentive beyond simply avoiding elimination on The Amazing Race. Joseph & Adam secured second place, followed by Natalie & Stephanie in third. Tucker & Eric's fourth-place finish despite their detour mishap highlighted their racing abilities.

Hannah & Simone took fifth, with Izzy & Paige in sixth. Jack & Chelsie claimed seventh place, while Kristine & Rubina finished eighth. Kyland & Taylor came in ninth, followed by Kat & Alex in tenth. The crucial eleventh spot went to Meghan & Matt, who narrowly escaped elimination by avoiding last place. Angela & Lexi crossed the finish line in twelfth place, making them the leg's eliminated team. Their departure reduces the field to eleven competing pairs.

The Amazing Race provided no indication whether this was a standard elimination or if any twist might allow their return. Non-elimination legs occasionally save last-place teams, but this episode appeared to be a straightforward elimination.

With eleven teams remaining, the competition intensifies as more challenging destinations and tasks await. Each subsequent leg increases pressure, knowing that one mistake or navigation error can mean the difference between continuing toward the million-dollar prize and going home empty-handed.
