The Network's latest murder thriller series, The Artist, premieres on November 27, 2025. It's not your regular murder thriller. It's set in the Gilded Age and has a dash of comedy elements, making it a perfect holiday watch. It also features a bunch of big names, including Mandy Patinkin, Danny Hutson, Janet McTeer, and Zachary Quinto, among others.

Set in the late nineteenth century, the characters in this series are reimagined versions of historical figures like the French impressionist Edgar Degas and Thomas Edison. It begins with the death of an eccentric and failing tycoon, Norman Henry, during a party at night. It turns out his guest list contains the era's most famous personalities, and naturally, they all turn suspects. His wife, Marian (also the narrator), feels his death is related to the strange, unconnected events that took place earlier.

It's bizarre, it's chaotic, and it's thrilling; in short, it's not history yet packed with references and characters from the past.

Here's what we know about it.
