The Asset ending explained: Ashley presses Miran to confess and Tea gets attacked

Netflix's latest spy thriller, The Asset, concluded with Miran forced to confess to all of his crimes. The Danish thriller revolved around a rookie PET agent, Tea, being sent to the Miran household to befriend his wife, Ashley, to get more information on Miran, an infamous drug-peddler and murderer, to reveal his crimes.

Tea later befriends Ashley and her daughter Sofia, but ultimately, her truth about being an undercover agent comes to light. She convinces Ashley to make Miran confess to killing Erik. To be with her daughter, who was taken by her, she agrees.

While Miran is forced to surrender due to Tea, the latter also gets brutally attacked at the end.

The Asset ending explained: Ashley makes Miran confess

In the finale of The Asset, Tea convinces Ashley to talk to Miran and make him confess to the murder, so that she can get her daughter back from the child services. She also confesses to Folke about her own involvement.

Miran was not aware of his wife working with the PET and ended up revealing that he was the one who killed Erik. Ashley was then supposed to get out of the house so that the SWAT team could get in and arrest Miran. However, she called Tea and tried to make her believe that Miran was actually not a bad person.

Unfortunately, Miran hears their conversation, and later, when he checks Ashley's phone, he finds a video of her with Sofia, making him realise that Ashley was now working with the PET. While he then flees from the house before the PET can arrest him, Ashley stays in the house.

Netflix's The Asset becomes more intense near the end as Miran kidnaps Tea at gunpoint. She is taken to a container port where she tries to make him surrender and take the blame on himself so that Sofia would have at least one of her parents. While Niko tries to kill her, Marin makes the shocking decision to surrender and confess to everything.

After Miran's arrest, Tea is offered to work with the PET. However, her opinion about the work has changed. Watching how Folke was ready to arrest both Ashley and Miran, even after she risked her life to make Miran confess, made her question everything about the job. She ended up declining the offer.

Elsewhere, Ashley, who got Sofia back, was visited by Miran's father, who wanted to take care of Sofia as she was the only family left. However, after Ashley finds the key to Miran's secret drug stash from Sofia's toy, she gives a knowing smirk, indicating that she might not have to live under Miran's father after all.

While Miran's case is solved, Yasin and Tea get attacked by unknown people, leaving Tea brutally injured and hospitalized, at the end.
