The Bad Guys: Breaking In is an animated prequel series to the Bad Guys film and features the same animal crew with Mr Wolf, Shark, Snake, and Piranha. It starts before the events we see in the film and explores the crew's journey when they are trying to place their name on the bad guys' lists and are trying and testing their initial heists.

The trailer of The Bad Guys: Breaking In opens with the crew being chased down by the police in their car. That is when Mr Wolf proudly claims that they are the bad ones, only to realize the police car is moving past them and is actually chasing someone else. This sets the tone for the prequel show, where the crew is miserably failing at being bad.

Some brilliant actors are voicing the animated characters in the show, and here is the complete cast and character guide for your knowledge.

Michael Godere as Mr. Wolf

Mr. Wolf is the confident leader of the crew who is eager to prove himself as the ultimate bad guy. He is failing, as his instincts usually fall on the good side. In The Bad Guys: Breaking In, Wolf is leading the crew, planning out their initial heists. He is shown as ambitious but is also inexperienced, balancing out his desire for fame and the way he should lead his team.

Godere's voice backing the character adds to the overall appearance of Mr Wolf, adding a little bit of maturity with sly humour, suggesting that the character is clever and charismatic. Michael Godere is the one known for co-writing and starring in the indie drama The Mend in 2014.

Ezekiel Ajeigbe as Mr. Shark

Mr Shark is voiced by Ezekiel Ajeigbe, and the character is portrayed as the group’s gentle giant. Shark is the kind-hearted one among all and loves disguises and drama more than the actual crime. Shark is such a recruit who wants to fit between rougher personalities. The comic innocence and huge physical presence of the Shark make the comedy happen in The Bad Guys: Breaking In.

Ajeigbe’s voice acting captures Shark’s character as desired and envisioned, making him the most lovable one among all. He is innocent, clumsy, and also enthusiastic about the heists and the entire drama unfolding around them.

Raul Ceballos as Mr. Piranha

The voice behind Mr Piranha is that of Raul Ceballos. Piranha is the smallest yet fiercest member of the gang. He is shown as a short-tempered one and impulsive at times, often inviting chaos for the crew with his stupid decisions sometimes. He is shown to have a possessive behaviour towards other friends, which forms some ongoing gags in the show.

Ceballos infuses the role with fast-talking, manic energy that perfectly fits the character’s unpredictability. He previously voiced Oscar in the animated film Luck (2022).

Chris Diamantopoulos as Mr. Snake

Chris Diamantopoulos voices Mr. Snake, the best friend of Mr Wolf. In The Bad Guys: Breaking In the Snake, as a sarcastic and cunning one, is often the moral opposite of Wolf, yet their friendship forms the emotional spine of the show.

Diamantopoulos, a veteran voice actor, brings an ironic warmth to Snake’s gruff exterior. Interestingly, he’s also the modern voice of Mickey Mouse in Disney’s Emmy-winning shorts, among others of his notable works.

Alongside them, more voice actors are featured in the show, and this includes Mallory Low as Ms Tarantula (“Webs”), Zehra Fazal as Tiffany Fluffit & Tiffany Fluffit Sr., the news reporter who usually sensationalizes the crimes done by the crew. Then there is Patton Oswalt as Mr Wigglesworth, the crew's rival thief whose plans come in between the Bad guy's plans. Oswalt is the same person who also voiced Remy in Ratatouille.

Kate Mulgrew is voicing Serpentina, Stephanie Sheh is behind Officer Foxington (Young), and Khary Payton voices Chief Marmalade, among others.
