Aggie’s strive for the truth in The Beast in Me Episode 3
Episode 3 of The Beast in Me begins with Martin looking at the fight that his sons are having. He seems to be enjoying the physical fight that his sons are having. Usually, when parents see their children fight, they try to separate them and solve their issue. However, it is not Martin’s forte. Soon, Rick arrives and begins to reminisce about his childhood days with Martin.
The scene cuts to Aggie and Nile. Nile tells Aggie about his father’s “dogma”. He also tells her that his father’s real religion is Darwinism. He is a staunch follower of the survival of the fittest. Nile continues to speak about his legacy and the things that he has done for the business.
Aggie realizes that Nile did not tell his father about the book. He then continues to tell the gruesome story of his mother’s death. His mother had cervical stenosis with a dozen miscarriages before she had Marty. Nile was conceived after five more miscarriages. After giving birth to him, she almost bled out on the table.

It can be understood why Nile thinks that his father will not speak to Aggie. This episode of The Beast in Me continues with Nile visiting his father to speak. Martin asks him about the book. He continues to tell him that the whole point of his moving out of Manhattan was to keep him off of “Page Six” until Jarvis Yards is completed. Nile counters by saying that he needs to control the narrative, as the option of his exile is backfiring.
Their conversation is interrupted by Councilman Phineas as they discuss the Nile’s situation. As the episode progresses, Aggie visits Abbott’s apartment. It is revealed that his marriage was also impacted because of the Jarvis case. They begin to discuss the case.
Abbott tells Aggie that he got a copy of Teddy Fenig’s case file, but there is not much information in it. On the other hand, Nile goes to speak with Rick, who tells him about Aggie’s involvement with Brian Abbott. Rick also openly admits that he blames Nile for his brother’s heart attack.
Aggie and Abbott go back and forth with the details of Teddy’s case. Aggie tries to explain to him that it is not a case of suicide. However, Abbott tells her that all the indications are pointing in that direction, so there is nothing that they can do in this situation. Aggie then tells Abbott about the ring, which tracks his metrics, even his geolocation.
So, they could track it to see if he is involved. Right then, Aggie gets Nile’s call, who asks him to come to Jarvis Yards because he wants to show him something. Abbott decides to follow her to ensure her safety.

After reaching Jarvis Yards, Nile confronts Aggie about speaking to the FBI. Aggie answers truthfully but twists it so that it does not seem suspicious. However, Nile tells her that she should have consulted with him before speaking to Abbott.
Hearing this, Aggie tells Nile that if he does not support her, she might write the book anyway, but it would be an unauthorized version where she will talk to anyone but him. This gets Nile’s attention. He then invites Aggie to his brother’s birthday party so that she can speak to Martin herself.
Aggie then informs Abbott about the situation. Abbott tells her that this birthday party can be used as an opportunity to enter Nile’s house to find out about the ring. Aggie arrives at the birthday party. Seeing the kids at the party, Aggie begins to think about her son, which causes her to have a breakdown. Nile arrives, and she opens up about the situation.
Nile decides to show her around the area. On the other hand, Abbott enters the house after drugging the dogs. He then enters Nile’s room and begins to download the files from his laptop. This episode of The Beast in Me ends with Nile returning home. Aggie quickly informs Abbott that he has to leave; otherwise, he will get caught. However, the files from Nile’s files were not fully downloaded.
After downloading the files, he runs out of the house, but one of the dogs bites him. He eventually somehow manages to escape the property before Nile finds out.
