The Beast in Me, which recently dropped on Netflix, is definitely bringing in newer audiences with each passing day. The aspect of thrill that surrounds the storyline in The Beast in Me is definitely not for the fainthearted.

It cannot be denied that to get the spot on top of the charts requires a show to have a storyline that will get the viewers hooked from the beginning to the end. The Beast in Me also features a storyline that will keep you glued to the screen. The series is now at the top of the charts on Netflix. It definitely deserves the spot.

The plot of The Beast in Me dives into the story of a struggling woman, Aggie. Her son's death left her with a void that is hard to fill. In her professional life, as a writer, Aggie also finds it difficult to find new ideas for her book. Right then, a new opportunity arrives in the form of her neighbour. This new neighbour, Nile Jarvis, comes with a layer of mysteries that begin to draw Aggie.

She quickly begins to get completely fascinated by Nile’s past. She then decides to use Nile’s story as the backdrop of her new book. However, her plans get her into more and more trouble, which becomes the foundation of The Beast in Me. The premise itself is extremely interesting with a distinct touch of freshness. Right after the series dropped, viewers swarmed in, giving the series 6.9M views.

The Beast in Me dropped all eight episodes of the first season in one day on November 13. Within the first few days, the series amassed a huge audience for its storyline. It cannot be denied that the release of all eight episodes of the series gave the viewers the opportunity to fully absorb the storyline. It quickly became a binge-watching gem amongst the lovers of this genre.

The ending of The Beast in Me takes the stakes higher and higher with each plot twist. The manner in which the cast members handled the depth of their respective characters is truly worth appreciating. In the last episode of The Beast in Me, Nile’s truth finally comes to light. Through the years, Nile hid his true self. Finally, everything begins to unravel for Nile.

He wanted Aggie to eventually take the fall for his crimes. Yet he was not successful in doing so. On the other hand, Aggie also masterfully handles the situation. The manner in which she finally finds the peace that she was looking for after her son’s death resonates in an authentic manner.

There is a seamless blend of emotions, with the thrill of mystery in the series. It depicts the dedication of the creators of the series. Claire Catherine Danes’s performance as Aggie in the series depicts her acting prowess along with her distinct ability to bring life to her characters in an authentic manner.

If you enjoyed her performance in this series, then you can also watch her performance in My So-Called Life, Temple Grandin, Homeland, Fleishman Is in Trouble, etc. It cannot be denied that Matthew Rhys’s contribution to the series as Nile Jarvis becomes the heart of the show. The manner in which he brings out the devious nature of Nile, along with Nile’s ability to maintain a facade, is worth appreciating.
