The Challenge Season 41 Episode 14: Maths equation, puzzle solving, diving into water, followed by another puzzle

The recently released episode of The Challenge, Season 41, Episode 14, featured a daily challenge called Rune Race. The remaining eight teams participated in the task.

The show host, TJ Lavin, explained the latest challenge. For the task, participants were tethered to their partners. After running to the other side of the runway, they had to remember the first half of the equation.

"That equation is made up of runes. So you're gonna have to memorize those runes and bring them down to the other side of the runway, which has the key with the lines of those symbols corresponding to their numbers. Solve that equation and get a code. Use that code to unlock a cage that has your puzzle pieces in it."

After unlocking the cage underwater with the code, they would get six pieces of a puzzle. They need to bring it back to the puzzle station and solve it.

Before the task, Leo talked about being intelligent and Ashley being a math wizard.

"Hopefully, we can pull out the W because we need it. And I just keep envisioning TJ saying 'Leo and Ashley, you guys are safe.'"

On TJ's mark, the participants were tethered to their partners and started on the task. They ran to the other end of the runway. Sydney and Turbo agreed on working in pairs.

For that, he memorized the first part of the puzzle, while Sydney was going to remember the second part. However, things didn't work out the way they had planned.

"Turbo and I decided he is going to remember the first half, and I am going to remember the second half. But you see this board and I'm having trouble finding my share of symbols. But I'm never gonna quit. 'Cause also the Turbo is a puzzle master," confessed Sydney.

After memorizing the first half, the teams ran back to the other end. There was a huge board with many symbols. Once the teams memorized the second half, they went to the puzzle station to solve it.

The Challenge's Cedric and Michaela were the leading team. They jumped into the water for the next part of the task. Soon, Turbo and Sydney also joined them. Theo confessed to the cameras about the task. He noted that it involved memorization, maths, swimming, and a puzzle.

Justin and Nany were the first team to get their pieces in the water unlocked. Cedric and Michaela were the second team, followed by the other teams. However, Sydney and Turbo didn't get their lock to open the puzzle pieces. Hence, they had to return to the puzzle station to retrieve the correct code. Ashley and Leo also struggled to get the correct code.

"I'm starting to get crazy. It's hard," reacted Ashley.

After completing the last puzzle, Michaela and Cedric won the challenge, while Ashley and Leo were the last team to finish. As a result, the latter were sent to the elimination arena.
