Paramount+'s The Chi is currently airing its seventh season and the show's commendable ratings and success have already led to its Season 8 renewal.
Episode 7 was a high-end chase between Alicia and Reg, following the failed shooting attempt at the end of Episode 6. Since Alicia wants to make the streets of Chicago safer for the next generation, she proposes a plan to Judge Bradley that might finally put Reg behind bars.

As evident from the episode title and the synopsis, Episode 8 will mainly focus on Damien and his betting addiction, which will land him in huge trouble in the upcoming episode.
In addition, as hinted in Episode 7, Detective Toussaint will begin her hunt for Reg, after Judge Bradley proposed a deal that could get her son out of prison for good. Detective's efforts might also turn fruitful for Alicia and Reg would finally be lifted off the streets of Chicago.
Alicia sets up a new plan to get rid of Reg in The Chi Season 7 Episode 7
The Chi Season 7 Episode 7 opens in the aftermath of Alicia's effort to kill Reg by taking a shot at him. While she failed to shoot Reg, Jamal became a casualty in Episode 6, with his future uncertain.
Episode 7 opens up with Jamal still alive, but he is in a coma because of the injuries he sustained during the shootout. Jamal's new wife, Don, tries to stay positive about the situation and Alicia helps the family pay the medical bills.
Elsewhere, Reg desperately tries to search for the person who planned a hit on him. While he suspects Shaad, Jake makes him believe that he can not do such a thing. He also reveals that Shaad's girlfriend, Alicia, likely planned the hit on Reg.
After her plan to take out Reg from the streets of Chicago did not work out, Alicia teams up with Judge Bradley to get Reg behind bars. While Bradley hesitates initially, Alicia reminds her that Chicago streets would be much safer for the younger generation with Reg in prison.
The final moments of the episode saw Bradley teaming up with another person who wants Reg behind bars, Detective Toussaint. She promises that if the Detective succeeds in bringing Reg alive to him, she will get her son out of prison.
