Release date, cast list, streaming details and more about Peacock's latest production, The Copenhagen Test

Peacock's latest "spy-fi" production starring Simu Liu in the leading role is set to release soon. With just about a month remaining until the show's arrival, fans are excited to get updated about the relevant streaming information and more about the show.

The Copenhagen Test is scheduled to release on December 27, 2025, and will be available to stream on Peacock. The show features Simu Liu in the leading role, playing the character of Alexander Hale. Apart from Liu, the show will also feature Melissa Barrera in an integral role, as she plays the character of the deceptive Michelle.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Simu Liu opened up about how serious he was about playing the lead role in a show, clarifying that this was not something he took lightly.

"It's not lost on me how rare it is for someone like me to be given even a hypothetical opportunity to be the lead of something. So whenever there's a chance, I want people to know I've been intentional with the material."

He even opened up about the complexity of the character, stating that on several occasions, the audience would be confused about whether Hale was looking at something because he wanted to see it or because he wanted his enemy to think he was looking at it.

"It creates a lot of really juicy layers that'll hopefully make the audience lean in. Where they're like, 'Okay, I see that he's looking at this... but is he looking at this because he's looking at it, or is he looking at it because he wants [the enemy] to see that he's looking at it?"

Aside from these two characters, the show will also feature several other prominent actors in important roles, with Sinclair Daniel playing the character of Parker. At the same time, Mark O'Brien stars as Cobb in the show. Moreover, other actors featuring in the show include Brian d'Arcy James as John Moira, Kathleen Chalfant as St. George, and Sara Amini as Ellie. Saul Rubinek and Hannah Cruz also play the roles of Victor Simonek and Rachel Kasperian, respectively.

The show is produced by James Wan and has been written, created, and executive-produced by Thomas Brandon.

All eight episodes of The Copenhagen Test will be released at once on December 27 and will be available to stream on Peacock.
