The CW has announced its mid-season release dates for 2026. Good news for fans of Wild Cards, Trivial Pursuit, Police 24/7, Sullivan's Crossing, and Scrabble, as all these shows now have their return dates set.

Controlled by Nexstar Media Group, the broadcasting television network is also owned by Paramount, Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery. Earlier this year, talking about the rebranding, Brad Schwartz, the current president of the CW network, told Variety:

"Our path right now is just to make the CW mean something different than it has in the past, as opposed to rebrand. There is no plan to rebrand."

What are The CW's mid-season release dates for 2026?

The CW is all set to roll out its mid-season lineup, bringing back some fan favorites with fresh episodes and new premieres.

It starts on January 21, with Police 24/7. A fresh episode is set to air at 8 PM, and if you miss it, there's an encore right after at 9 PM, which will run for an hour. Then on January 22, viewers can watch Scrabble's Season 2 premiere scheduled at 8 PM, followed by Trivial Pursuit's Season 2 premiere at 9 PM.

The schedule wraps up on January 26, with Wild Cards' Season 3 premiere scheduled at 8 PM. Right after that, viewers can watch an encore of Sullivan's Crossing at 9 PM. All these episodes are set to run for an hour each.


When is The CW series All-American returning?

Fans of All-American might have to wait, as the final season is still set for next year, according to Deadline. The release date has not been confirmed yet. According to IMDb, the show is scheduled to release in February. The series has already been renewed for its final season, which will be Season 8.

Speaking of the show, Nkechi Okoro Carroll told Variety:

"How do I condense into just a few words what would be the longest love letter to this show, the fans, the cast, crew, staff, and producers. My heart is so filled with love and gratitude for everyone who helped bring ‘All American’ to life and kept it going for its historic run. It is so hard to say goodbye to the thing that you love, but we are so excited we get to do it in the way we envisioned with this final season."

The CW series has a 7.6-star rating on IMDb, making it one of the most popular and watched shows on the network. According to reports, it may arrive in the fall, but fans will have to wait for the network to confirm the exact premiere date.

In the meantime, fans still have many shows to look forward to next year.
