Helmed by Isabella Eklöf, the upcoming series The Death of Bunny Munro is already raising quite the intrigue amongst the viewers. The premise of the series is based on the novel of the same name by the very talented author, Nick Cave. The trailer of the series is already out, which features a glimpse into the unique father-son relationship between Matt Smith’s Bunny Munro and Rafael Mathé’s Bunny Junior. The Death of Bunny Munro will be arriving on November 20.

The Death of Bunny Munro will be available for streaming on the streaming platform of Sky TV. In the trailer of The Death of Bunny Munro, Matt Smith’s a glimpse of Matt Smith’s impeccable skills as an actor can be seen. He takes on the titular role of Bunny Munro. Bunny is struggling after the death of his wife. So he decides to take his son, Bunny Junior, on a road trip where he sells his articles and shows his son the nitty-gritty of the job.

According to Bunny’s son, Bunny Junior, Bunny is “the best salesman in the world”. However, a different aspect of Bunny’s character is shown. He is always trying to flirt with the women he interacts with. During their road trip, a sudden complication arrives for the father-son duo. Bunny gets a call from a social worker who asks him if the way he is interacting with his son is ideal for his son or not.

The social worker's words begin to crumble the comfort bubble that Bunny created, and he is forced to confront reality. His son also begins to tell Bunny that he is seeing his dead mother. This further adds to his worries. It can be understood that even though a jovial exterior that Bunny shows to the world, he is also struggling from within.

Matt Smith’s performance is truly worth appreciating. The manner in which he handles the emotional range of his character and depicts it in a nuanced manner with a distinct level of authenticity truly shines bright.
