The series perfectly captures the essence of Nak-su’s character development in a distinct manner. At the beginning of the series, Nak-su’s pride became a defining aspect of his character.

After airing on JTBC, The Dream Life of Mr. Kim is available to stream on Netflix. The stage is all set for Ryu Seung-ryong’s Nak-su to face the challenges after his life has crumbled down after falling victim to a scam. Ryu Seung-ryong brought life to the struggles that Nak-su faces.

Now, Ha-jin is aware of the unit, so Nak-su is in a dire situation. His past childhood trauma, which left a mark on his life and is also a significant aspect that perfectly comes to life through Ryu Seung-ryong’s performance. Nak-su's past was crucial in shaping his nature. It is depicted in the tenth episode. His childhood struggles, especially being neglected by his parents and his constant competition with his older brother, led him to become intensely competitive.

It was also significant in making him rude and proud. However, he is now finally ready to face these negative aspects of his life. He took a step forward towards healing himself in episode 10 of The Dream Life of Mr. Kim by going to the psychiatrist.

Myung Se-bin’s performance as Ha-jin, as she finally confronts her husband’s situation, also leaves an impact. This is the same for the apartment. He bought it so that he could brag that even though he got fired from his job, he could still make things work. Ha-jin decides that the only solution to the debt that they are now in because of Nak-su’s wrong decision is to sell the house. At the end of episode 10 of The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, Ha-jin clicks pictures of the apartment that they live in and posts them on the website to sell it.

The stage is all set for some intense drama in episodes 11 and 12 of The Dream Life of Mr. Kim. It will be interesting to see Nak-su’s reaction when he finds out that Ha-jin listed their apartment.
