The first teaser for Invincible Season 4 has been released

Invincible Season 4 received huge updates on the New York Comic Con panel on October 10, 2025. There, fans also got a small teaser for the fourth season, but this one does not give a glimpse of what the upcoming season looks like. Everything culminates with the exciting revelation of when we are getting season 4: March 2026.

Back in June this year, Robert Kirkman sat down for an interview with Deadline in which he hyped up the animation style of Invincible Season 4. When the Deadline reporter asked Kirkman if the season 3 finale between Conquest and Invincible, the show and comic creator responded:

"I mean, until some of the stuff that’s coming up in Season 4. And that’s also by design. We’re trying to make the show an escalating show. So that, every season, in some sense, tops the season before it. It may top emotionally or physically. We’re not going to be able to stage bigger and bigger battles every season until the show becomes impossible to produce. But we are planning aspects that will elevate every season so that when you watch the show, you get a sense of growth. And you get a sense of an intensifying stakes that will constantly be pushing down on the characters."

Invincible Season 4 teaser explained:

The three-minute nine-second teaser is similar to the season 3 teaser, in which we see Mark in his hero costume speaking with a character. The season 2 teaser saw Mark and Allen the Alien sitting across the table in a burger joint. The third season 3 teaser sees Mark doing the same with Cecil Stedman. This time, we see his girlfriend, Atom Eve.

However, this time, the two are surrounded by destruction as the usual burger place is wrecked, and the burger also doesn't look that good. Eve instructs Mark not to eat it, and then they talk about the events of the Invincible Season 3 finale and the defeat of Conquest. Then, Eve lightly roasts Mark by taking over his usual explanation of the animation process of the show.

The closing minutes of the teaser also reveal the release window of Invincible Season 4 as March 2026. As of now, the people involved in the series have not revealed the release date. But we may learn the date in the coming months.

What do we know about season 4?

The season 3 finale set up several exciting plotlines for Invincible Season 4. Nolan and Allen the Alien team up, Atom Eve's mysterious power up in the season 3 finale during the fight with the Viltrum warrior Conquest, and more importantly, the warrior being imprisoned in a blacksite prison by Cecil.

Mark himself might be different in the upcoming season, as the second half of season 3 saw him evolve from having a no-kill rule to being open to killing his enemies. Kirkman specifically pointed towards Mark's openness to killing his enemies in the penultimate episode of Invincible Season 3 in the Deadline interview:

"I think it’s good to give Mark as many outside influences as possible. One thing that we dealt with in Season 2 was, “Am I becoming my father?” And his fear of that. And one of the results of interacting with his father was that he brought Oliver home. Oliver has the same dad but is from an alien world. As Mark interacts with Oliver, he gets to see how Oliver sees the world versus how Mark sees the world. So, it’s an interesting contrast to see how someone who has superpowers, who shares the same father, and who lives in the same house can have a wildly different view. For Mark, his feelings can sometimes be scary when he seemingly agrees with some of the crazy things that Oliver is saying. For example, after he’s killed the Mauler twins. But the interesting note over the course of Season 3 is that Oliver says very harsh things that make you worry. Then, by the end of the season, the completion of Mark’s arc is that he’s more aligned with Oliver than he was before. So, by the end of this season, you should be worried for where Mark is headed in Season 4 and beyond."
