As this episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air progresses, Carlton asks Will about the new place that he was talking about. However, Will gets fidgety while discussing his supposed new apartment. He tells him that the apartment is adding some renovations to the place. He also adds that this new apartment is huge. Hearing this, Carlton asks if he could keep some of his things at his new apartment, as Phil and Vivian are selling the house and he is moving to Princeton.

However, Will then changes his words and says that his place is small. Hearing Will’s words, Carlton thinks that Will has separation anxiety, and seeing his things in his apartment will make him emotional. Will then finally reveals the truth that he has “no apartment anxiety,” as he does not have any apartment to move to.

Carlton is shocked to hear this. Will then tells him that, as the others were discussing their future plans, he also felt the need to say something. Carlton suggests to him that he should not be hard on himself and move back in with them. However, Will tells him that he wants to finish school. The scene cuts to Will returning to the house to find Geoffrey waiting inside the house.

Geoffrey is tasked with showing the house to the prospective buyers. Will then suggests that he should not be doing this and insists that he should take over the task instead. As the house is being inspected by the prospective buyers, Will begins to sabotage the selling process by telling stories that the house is haunted and many more. Will thinks that his plan to sabotage the sale of the house is successful; however, Phil gets a call from the realtor. He informs them that the house has a buyer, but they will have to leave within a week.

Will tries to find apartments within the week; however, he is not able to find anything. It can be understood that with only a day to move out, Will is quite stressed. He finally reveals the truth to the Banks family. Though Carlton tries to help him, he understands that he needs to tell the truth. Phil then speaks with Will alone.

He asks Will about his lie, to which Will says that while everyone was speaking about the next step of their lives, he felt that saying that he had nothing planned would make him look like a failure. Phil then tells him that he is proud of Will. Will and Carlton reminisce about the time they spent together as they pack their bags. As the family members say their goodbyes to each other, the series ends with a bittersweet feeling.
