HBO's The Gilded Age Season 3 will premiere on June 22, 2025, and will drop weekly episodes every Sunday.
The Emmy Award-winning 2022 historical drama series is all set to air its third chapter, which will continue to explore the clash between new money and old money in New York's Gilded Age (1880s).
The series is created by Julian Fellowes and follows the clash between the newcomers Russell family, and their Upper East Side neighbours, and the old money van Rhijn-Brook family.
Season 3 will feature the returning cast, including Carrie Coon as Bertha Russell, Morgan Spector as George Russell, Louisa Jacobson as Marian Brook, Christine Baranski as Agnes Van Rhijn, Denée Benton as Peggy Scott, Taissa Farmiga as Gladys Russell and many more.

The Gilded Age Season 3 will premiere on HBO on June 22 at 9 p.m. ET, and the episodes will also be available to stream on Max the following day. Season 3 will air weekly episodes every Sunday till the finale on August 10.

What can you expect from The Gilded Age Season 3?
Season 3 will likely pick up directly from the events of the Season 2 finale, which saw a battle between Bertha and Mrs. Astor.
Since Bertha is considered new money, she is directly under the scrutiny of the old money elites like Mrs. Astor, who denied her family an opera box (a symbol of status) at the Academy of Music.
This insult led Bertha to take a drastic step and ignite an opera war by supporting the newly launched Metropolitan Opera. The Season 2 finale saw Bertha winning the opera war after the Duke of Buckingham decided to attend the Met's opening night.
However, it was later revealed that Bertha had promised her daughter Gladys' hand to the Duke, despite her heart set on another young man, Billy Carlton. Since George had promised his daughter that she could marry for love, this will likely create tensions for the Russell couple in The Gilded Age Season 3.
According to HBO's official synopsis, the Russell family is in for an exciting turn in the upcoming chapter:
“Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights, while George risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry — if it doesn’t ruin him first.''
While Bertha will undertake every effort to strengthen her family's social standing, George will face new challenges in his profession.
In the Season 2 finale, George faced backlash from the steelworkers at his railroad for fair pay and better working conditions. After the militia intervened, George was forced to meet some of their demands, which would have consequences in The Gilded Age Season 3.
