The Golden Bachelor Season 2 Episode 3: Four participants are sent home, while a few females receive roses

The Golden Bachelor Season 2 Episode 3 featuring Mel Owens, started with the remaining 13 females. For the latest week, participants went on a group date, and each of them had a chance to roast the bachelor with "no-holds-barred" comedy roast.

Later, females with the most hilarious joke would win a one-on-one date while, another one would win a culinary adventure with Mel. Additionally, fans also witnessed a slumber party with the first season's Susan and Kathy.

The Golden Bachelor Season 2 Episode 3 started with the participants spending their time at the mansion. Soon, tension started to grow as a few of them felt bits of jealousy from their fellow contestants. It started after many of them witnessed Nicolle spending more time with Owns in the pool.

After receiving the first date cards, contestants learned about going to the Bellwether Theatre in LA. While there, females had a chance to roast the bachelor with their funniest jokes. They met Jared Fried at the theatre, who started the roast:

"I'm Jared Freid, I'm very excited to be here. We're gonna roast Mel! I'm 40, I'm the age Mel wishes you were."

Many of the females delivered jokes that resulted in laughter all around them. While Monica B shared some football jokes, and also joked about Nicolle's growing closeness with Owens.

Another participant, Cheryl, joked about Owens:

"You remind me of a Detroit-style pizza, crusty, cheesy, and square."

Nicolle also joked about Owens with a poem:

"Roses are red, violets are blue, I want all the women to love me, especially you, and you, and you."

During her poem, she pointed at the younger participants from the audience. Everyone couldn't contain their laughter.

As a result, Owens chose Nicolle for his one-on-one date. During their date, they talked about their past relationships, marriage, and more. After sharing a kiss, Owens also gave a rose to Nicolle, which confirmed her spot at the rose ceremony.

Another cast member, Debbie, also earned a one-on-one date with Owens. They spent quality time together while cooking with a French Chef, Ludo Lefebvre. Owens felt comfortable while cooking and spending time with Debbie. She also received a rose from Owens.

The episode further featured the third rose ceremony, where some of the contestants received their roses. Before that, a few of them opted to have a private chat with Owens. A couple of them also managed to share some intimate moments with him and shared a kiss.

After spending more time with Cindy, Owens told her that it was the feeling that the two shared a strong connection. Referring to that, Cindy confessed to the cameras that it was a feeling that she didn't expect to feel.

Later, contestants who received roses during the Rose Ceremony were Peg, Cindy, Gerri, Cheryl, Carol, Robin, and Roxanne. On the other hand, the episode also featured four eliminations: Monica P, Monica B, Terri, and Amy.

At last, nine remaining contestants who advanced on the ABC show.
