Britain's biggest chat show, The Graham Norton Show, has been renewed for three seasons on BBC One. The announcement comes after the Friday episode featuring a diversity of international stars, including Taylor Swift, Cillian Murphy, and more.

This agreement is set to roll into effect with Season 34 of the chat show, set to air in 2026 on BBC One and iPlayer. The three-season renewal ensures that the show celebrates its 20th anniversary and Season 36 on BBC One.

The Graham Norton Show is one of the most popular shows in Britain and averaged 2.9 million viewers every episode in its recent season. From musical legends like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Chris Martin to A-list Hollywood stars including Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, and Meryl Streep, all have been on the red sofa that graces the chat show.

The chat show was first launched on BBC Two in 2007 and was a part of this lineup for the first two seasons before being shifted to BBC One. Since then, it has been one of the most popular segments in the channel's Friday lineup, managing to attract the brightest global stars to the people of Britain.

Over the years, The Graham Norton Show has also earned several critical accolades, like the National Television Awards, the BAFTA TV Awards, the RTS Television Awards, and the British Comedy Awards. This journey doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon, as the three-season renewal ensures that the Irish host will be around entertaining his guests and the audience for a long time.

Speaking about the three-season renewal, host Graham Norton said:

The Graham Norton Show is a So Television production for BBC One and has been so since 1998. Graham Stuart, the managing director of So Television and the executive producer for the show, also commented on the renewal, stating:

"We began the Norton Talk Show journey in 1998 and have never felt like stopping. So happy the BBC feel the same way."

The BBC Head of Entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight, also commented on the three-season renewal, expressing their confidence in the host:

"We are thrilled that The Graham Norton Show will remain a flagship part of the BBC’s entertainment offering for another three series.
