Fran Sharp is played by Eve Myles

Fran Sharp, played by Eve Myles, is a successful businesswoman who hires Ria as her cleaner but soon starts to manipulate her into her glamorous world. They establish a codependent bond where Fran's charm often overshadows her dark side. Fran begins to help Ria, offering her material comforts like letting her borrow clothes and jewelry. But soon, she starts to act like a mentor.

Eve Myles, who plays Fran, is popular for her roles as Gwen Cooper in Torchwood, and Doctor Who. She was also Faith Howells in Keeping Faith and shared credits in Broadchurch and We Hunt Together.

Ria Powell is played by Gabrielle Creevy

Ria is the young cleaning lady Fran hires for her house chores. She initially starts to admire Fran for her confidence and generosity. This is how their relationship deepens. Fran assures Ria that even though people don't see her, she does.

It is only later that Ria starts to question her independence and sense of reality. Gabrielle Creevy is an award-winning actor and is known for her performance as Bethan in In My Skin.

Simon Sharp is played by Julian Lewis Jones

Simon Sharp is portrayed as being closely connected to Fran and they share an intricate dynamic, given the same surname and family.

Julian Lewis Jones has had a long career in British television, appearing in shows like Where the Heart Is, The Bill, and Spooks. Recently, he appeared in some international fantasy series, such as House of the Dragon and The Wheel of Time, among others.

Lee Mace is played by Siôn Daniel Young

Ria is shown to have a boyfriend named Lee. Ria's life with him highlights her more authentic self outside Fran's influence. Eventually, their relationship begins to get strained, with Ria becoming closer to Fran and her beliefs.

Sion Daniel Young has played Lee in The Guest, and his recent projects were Keeping Faith and Lost Boys & Fairies.
