Since Big Brother Season 27 revealed Rachel's elimination, it sent a shockwave among her fans and viewers. Her husband, Brendon Villegas, took to the social media platform X to share his thoughts.

With three pages from his notes app, Brendon opened up about Rachel's eviction and took a jab at the production and some of the housemates. While discussing the elimination, Brenden highlighted several key points. This included the possibility that getting Rachel to evict might even tank the show's rankings.

On the second page, Brendon wrote about Rachel being on the show:

"Without Rachel this season would have been a dud, a FACT! The other push we need is for Rachel to do Survivor and become the first player to compete in all three. She deserves it and she has earned it!"

He continued:

"I will continue to watch b/c as long as she is in that jury house, she will still be a part of the show. Having said that, I will not be surprised when the ratings start tanking because you removed the heart of your season."

Big Brother Season 27's most recent eviction witnessed Rachel going to the jury. Witnessing her getting evicted, it didn't sit well with her husband, Brendon Villegas.

On September 6, 2025, he took to the social media platform X and shared three pages from his notes app, sharing his thoughts on the current situation.

Brendon wrote that without Rachel, the current season of the CBS show would have been a "dud." He added that even though Rachel was no longer in the house, he would continue to watch the show. The reason was that, being in the jury house, she would still be a part of the show.

"I have been collecting snapshots of all the outporing of love and disgust with how it went down, so Rachel will know how much love she has outside of those BB walls when she is out," added Brendon.

Big Brother alum noted throwing weekly watch parties in Birmingham and building a community of BB Fandom. He thanked all the fans for their love and support.

He talked about Rachel being "great" on television; she was also a strategist and a strong competitor.

"Let our mourning persist through the weekend and take to the streets to litter social media with "Rachel 4 AFT" and show her how much she meant to this season!" wrote Brendon.

Brenden also noted that listening to Ava talk "s*it" about Rachel made him disappointed. He stated that they won't be associating with Ava or Kelley after the show was over.

Rachel's husband added that most people chase money, but there were "a few" who do it for the "love of the game." His wife was one of them.
