Episode 6, titled "The Devil Wears a Suit and a Tie", delivered one of the series' most gripping chapters yet. The town of Fairbanks descended into complete darkness after fugitive Romero's sabotage. Amid the chaos, a new villain emerged, Dr. William Wigg, the Angel of Death.

Disguised as a paramedic, Wigg manipulated the blackout to launch his killing spree. He killed one EMT and pushed a lethal dose of a drug on another. He posed as a medic and entered the hospital premises. However, Sarah sensed something was off and informed Frank. Before Frank could arrive, Wigg threatened Claire to arrange for an air ambulance. Sarah tried to stop him, and Frank finally arrested him. But the confrontation led to a deadly chain of events.

As Frank scrambled to locate the missing pilot, Timothy O'Bannon, Wigg used the hostage situation to make a strange demand: a delivery of a safety deposit box from Seattle's First Federal Bank. Inside were his mementos, photographs of victims, including the son of the very bank president who brought it to him. The grieving mother shot him dead.

Meanwhile, we got flashbacks of Havlock's past, where he seemed to have helped a woman called Elizabeth in Kyiv and refused to kill her. Sydney's secrets came to light too: her past as a government operative and her role in developing malware that could cause a plane crash. Thus, the drive could cause her trouble. If found, she will be blamed for it, even though initially the Agency shelved her idea, tagging it as too risky.

As the episode ends, Frank and the team led a rescue mission to save O'Bannon. With the help of Fairbank residents, he improvised an emergency runway using the headlights to guide the plane in the darkness. Elsewhere, the pilot survived, but Frank's alliance with Havelock grew shakier. Finally, Courier was arrested, yet the mystery widened.

The Last Frontier Episode 7: What to expect?

The synopsis, as per Apple TV, reads,

"A mysterious new suspect is interrogated. Frank’s secret comes to light. Havlock works on retrieving the contents of his hard drive."

With Wigg dead and Fairbanks slowly recovering from the blackout, Episode 7 shifts gears towards a psychological fallout and political intrigue. The title 'Change of Time' suggests both a narrative and emotional pivot, as loyalties shift and revelations come to light.

As per the synopsis, a new suspect might be interrogated, which might unravel a few more secrets. Meanwhile, we might know more about the JPATS crash conspiracy and the alleged FBI involvement in it.

Havelock, meanwhile, continues his own shadow mission, working to retrieve the encrypted contents of the hard drive. His motive remains murky, but his survival instincts and his strained history with Sydney could collide with Frank's quest for truth.

The Last Frontier Episode 7 Change of Time premieres November 14, 2025, on Apple TV+.
