The Last Frontier is finally coming to an end. Eight episodes of the series are already out. The stage is all set for the final phase of the action. Frank now knows the truth about Sydney. In the eighth episode of The Last Frontier, there is a clear dive into Sydney’s actions, telling us why she did what she did. It cannot be denied that the series is perfectly handling the aspects of mystery and emotions.

Sydney’s emotions come to light in the eighth episode. Her struggles and eventual choice to sacrifice something close to her show how eager she is to prove the truth. At the end of the eighth episode, she has run away, leaving behind Havlock. There is no certainty about the path she would now choose. This will only be revealed in the penultimate episode of the series. The ninth episode of the series will arrive on November 28 at 12 AM ET.

It cannot be denied that Apple TV always brings out TV shows that are replete with an extra level of intrigue. It is also the same for this series. From the beginning, there was always a distinct intrigue that surrounded the storyline. The creators of the series perfectly bring out one interconnected plotline after another, keeping the viewers hooked throughout.

In episode eight of The Last Frontier, the focus is mainly on Haley Bennett’s Sydney. The way she navigates through the unfolding of one truth after another about her father truly leaves an impact. Besides Haley Bennett, Dominic Cooper’s performance as Havlock, as he tries to help Sydney and even puts himself in danger to protect her, shows the depth of his character. Cooper’s performance brings out the layers in Havlock’s character.

A crucial part of The Last Frontier is Alfre Woodard’s performance as Jacqueline Bradford. Especially in the eighth episode of the series, the truth about Bradford’s activities comes to light because of Havlock. Havelock knew that if he did not have any leverage, he would be killed. So he began to search for information that could help him survive.

His distinct hacking skills came in handy when he found out about Archive 6. The discovery of Archive 6 leads to a chain reaction where Sydney finds out about Vincent Thiago’s connection with her father and Bradford’s decision to eventually remove Sydney’s father so that he is not able to pose any threat.

Anthony Skordi’s depiction of Vincent Thiago in The Last Frontier, especially in episode eight of the series, shows how skilled he is as an actor. Jason Clarke’s Frank will now be faced with the challenge of finding Sydney. In the previous episodes of the series, he grew a distinct bond with Sydney, even revealing to her about the tragic death of his daughter.

However, now, he knows that the plane crash was orchestrated by Sydney. She was involved in all of it. At the end of the eighth episode of the series, Frank arrives at the accident location and sees that Havlock is standing there alone. Sydney is nowhere to be found. Hence, the next episode of the series will focus on his chase for Sydney.
