Gregor wields the Sword of Mars in The Librarians: The Next Chapter Season 1 finale
In The Librarians: The Next Chapter, Season 1 Episode 12, the President announced General Bogdan Gregor as his successor. Gregor makes an appearance then with the Sword of Mars hanging from his waist. In front of a room full of people, he wields the sword, which shows its power, and it’s evident that he is going giddy with the kind of power he holds in his hands.
Vikram and Jacob, who had witnessed everything firsthand, returned to the Annex and recounted the events to the rest of the team. Given the immense power of the Sword of Mars, Mrs. A remarked that Gregor was now virtually unbeatable with the weapon in his possession.
Vikram defeats Gregor in the battle in The Librarians: The Next Chapter Season 1 finale
As Gregor goes back to his chambers, Lysa tricks him into giving her his sword, and she then flees with it. However, Gregor soon realizes what has happened and gets back the Sword of Mars in no time. He then sees Vikram there and accepts his challenge to fight him.
While Gregor is quite certain of victory because him having the Sword of Mars, Vikram faces him bravely with his Excalibur. The two fight rigorously, with them going to the ballroom while fighting. No one emerges victorious for a while, and the fight goes on, but then Vikram tells Gregor that he and the real Anya had been in love and also describes the power of the bond they shared.
This piece of information makes Gregor inattentive, and Vikram takes advantage of the situation, and before Gregor knows, he has the Sword of Mars at his throat. As Gregor asks Vikram if he is going to kill him, the latter tells him that the sword will do that itself since it consumes the person who was wielding it in case they get defeated.
As Gregor gets consumed by the sword, the team rushes to the fight scene and checks up on Vikram. After ensuring he is okay, the team gets ready for the next phase of their adventurous journey.
