It is also revealed that Yo-han killed his parents when he was 16 after he learned that they were going to donate their money to a temple. He also tries to strike a deal with Congressman Baek, who later sends his men to kill him, but they are defeated by Yo-han's katana.Furthermore, the episodes also depicted how Eun-bi's feelings toward Tae-jung have been changing while helping the wrongly accused innocent man. Her father also reveals his own tragic past about the fire that caught in his house, and he was framed as the perpetrator behind him and arrested, just like Tae-jung.Near the end of Episode 10 of The Manipulated, Tae-jung gets involved in a fight with Do-kyoung, which ends with the latter's car being hit by a truck. Tae-jung tries to record a confession out of him, but fails as Do-kyoung dies on the spot. It is shown that Yo-han was seeing everything that was unfolding, and later tries to convince Tae-jung to partner with him.Tae-jung realises that Yo-han might be the one pulling the strings, beginning the final phase of his revenge.
